{"id":53631,"date":"2020-06-22T16:06:58","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T07:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/delete-groups\/"},"modified":"2024-10-16T16:56:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T07:56:56","slug":"delete-groups","status":"publish","type":"admin-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/manage-members\/groups\/delete-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"Delete groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Select a group to delete.<\/p>\n<p>You can delete a group even if there are still members in it.<\/p>\n<p>If you delete a group, all conversation history, group email addresses, and data from Note, Event, Folder, and other active features will be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>If you delete an external group, it will also be deleted for all other companies using that group.<\/p>\n<h1><span id=\"i\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Delete a group from the Group screen<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Delete the group from the list on the 'Group' screen. You can delete multiple groups at once.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Group' to go to 'Group'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22912\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-admin-mobile-menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> to open the menu.<\/li>\n<li>In the list of groups, check <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29626\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-message-pc-web-contact-checkbox.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> left to the group to delete.<\/li>\n<li>Press 'Delete' at the top left.<\/li>\n<li>Check the precautions from the dialogue box and press 'OK'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><span id=\"i-2\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Delete a group from the group edit window<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Delete a group in the group edit window.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Group' to go to 'Group'.
