{"id":53636,"date":"2020-06-22T16:04:22","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T07:04:22","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/position-level-employment-type\/"},"modified":"2025-07-15T16:29:31","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T07:29:31","slug":"position-level-user-type","status":"publish","type":"admin-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/manage-members\/position-level-user-type\/","title":{"rendered":"Job position\/Level\/User type"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Add, edit, and delete job positions, levels, and user types within the company.<\/p>\n<p>You can define the working relationship among the members of the company by assigning job positions, levels, and user types.<\/p>\n<p>Members have 1 job level in the company.<\/p>\n<p>Members who belong to multiple teams can have multiple job positions assigned.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, you can create the user types in NAVER WORKS according to how the company defines them.<\/p>\n<p>The order of members in the Contacts, popup member lists, and member management pages is determined by their job position and level.<\/p>\n<p>The order of the member lists based on job position and level is: Executive -> Team leader -> Higher job position -> Higher job level -> Name.<\/p>\n<p>The permission to <a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/security\/authority\/authority\/\">use services<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/security\/limit-visibility\/\">view organization charts<\/a> can be granted according to the user type.<\/p>\n<h1><span id=\"i\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Job position settings<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Create, move, edit, and delete positions such as the team leader to assign to the members.<\/p>\n<p>You can assign positions to members per each assigned team.<\/p>\n<p>If multilingual settings are enabled in the default environment\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/settings\/company-information\/\">Language\u00b7Time Zone\/Region<\/a>, input fields for the selected languages will be displayed.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Position\/Level\/User Type' to go to 'Position\/Level\/User Type'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22912\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-admin-mobile-menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> to open the menu.<\/li>\n<li>You can add, move, edit, and delete positions by pressing the 'Edit' and then enabling 'Use position'. \u00a0However, if you disable the 'Use position' function, all of the setting information will be initialized and deleted.\n<ul>\n<li>Add job positions\n<ul>\n<li>Press '+Add Job Position' to add a new position name.<\/li>\n<li>Only the following special characters are allowed in position titles: ! @ &amp; ( ) - _ + [ ] { } , . \/.<\/li>\n<li>You can add up to 200 positions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Edit job positions\n<ul>\n<li>To change the job position name, enter the name of the new job position in the entry field and then press 'Save' at the top right.<\/li>\n<li>If you edit the job position, the change applies to the member information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Adjust job positions\n<ul>\n<li>You can change the order of the job positions in the list using <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49326\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-n-change_list.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"14\" height=\"19\" \/> on the left.
