{"id":53638,"date":"2020-06-22T16:03:13","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T07:03:13","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/recover-deleted-organization-data\/"},"modified":"2024-10-16T17:02:00","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T08:02:00","slug":"recover-deleted-organization-data","status":"publish","type":"admin-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/manage-members\/organizations\/recover-deleted-organization-data\/","title":{"rendered":"Restore deleted team data"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"green lw_tip\"><div class=\"lw_tip_content\">This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.<\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Within 30 days of deleting a team, you can restore the team's Message, Note, Event, and Folder data using the following methods.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Restore data from the deleted team by transferring it to another active team<\/li>\n<li>Restore data from the deleted team by creating a new group to store it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Once team data is restored, it cannot be transferred to another team or a new group.<\/p>\n<h1><span id=\"i\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Restore data to another team<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Restore Message, Note, Event, and Folder data from a deleted team by overwriting it to another existing team.<\/p>\n<p>The Message, Note, and Event data used by the existing team will be deleted and will not be accessible after the data restoration.<\/p>\n<p>However, for Task data, the assigner or assignee from the existing team can still view the tasks in <a href=\"\/en\/use-guides\/task\/task-list\/my-task\/\">My Task<\/a> even after the data restoration.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Team' to go to 'Team'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22912\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-admin-mobile-menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> to open the menu.<\/li>\n<li>At the top right, press 'Manage' and then 'Restore Team Data'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-61418 s_img\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/common_24_more_line.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> at the top right and then 'Restore Team Data'.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>From the team list, press 'Restore' right to the team you want to restore data.<\/li>\n<li>Select 'Restore data to another group' and then press 'Next' at the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>Select the existing team to transfer the data.<\/li>\n<li>After selecting all the precautions below, press 'Next'.<\/li>\n<li>Press 'Restore data'.<\/li>\n<li>Press 'OK'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><span id=\"i-2\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Restore data to a new group<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Create a new internal group to restore the data from the deleted team.<\/p>\n<p>When you create a new group, you will see the information below and you can modify it yourself.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group name: The deleted team's name is auto-filled and can be edited.<\/li>\n<li>Master(s): The last leader of the deleted team is automatically added as the group member and a master. You can edit the information if needed. If there is no leader of the deleted team, you must designate a member of the role.<\/li>\n<li>Mailinglist: A new mailing list is added automatically and can be edited. If you do not want to use the mailing list, change the status to 'Not in use'.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Team' to go to 'Team'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22912\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-admin-mobile-menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> to open the menu.<\/li>\n<li>At the top right, press 'Manage' and then 'Restore Team Data'. On mobile, tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-61418 s_img\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/common_24_more_line.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> at the top right and then 'Restore Team Data'.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>From the team list, press 'Restore' right to the team you want to restore data.<\/li>\n<li>Select 'Restore data to a new group' and press 'Next' at the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>Check the auto-filled group information. Edit the group name, master, members, and mailing list if needed and then press 'Next' at the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>Press 'Convert to group' in the confirmation dialogue box to proceed and complete restoring the data to the new group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><span id=\"i-3\" class=\"ez-toc-section\">Team data restoration history<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>When data restoration is complete, the 'Restore' button in the list changes to 'Restored'.
