{"id":348521,"date":"2023-06-20T21:46:10","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T12:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/use-guides\/proxy-server-settings\/"},"modified":"2025-03-28T17:51:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T08:51:07","slug":"proxy-server-setting","status":"publish","type":"use-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/use-guides\/drive\/explorer\/windows\/proxy-server-setting\/","title":{"rendered":"Enable or disable proxy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"green lw_tip\"><div class=\"lw_tip_content\">This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.<\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<h1>Proxy settings<\/h1>\n<p>To use NAVER WORKS Drive Explorer in a network environment with Internet access via a proxy server, each user needs to configure their proxy server settings.<\/p>\n<p>You can set up proxy server information even if you are not logged in or do not have access to the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>Setup is only available on Windows.<\/p>\n<p>The proxy settings options are as follows.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not set: Log in and access Drive Explorer using your ID and password through the standard method.<\/li>\n<li>Use Windows settings: Log in and access Drive Explorer using Windows proxy settings.<\/li>\n<li>Manual setup: Log in and access Drive Explorer with the proxy connection information you entered directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Apply Windows proxy settings<\/h2>\n<p>Apply the proxy settings for Windows.<\/p>\n<p>Windows proxy settings can only be applied to HTTP\/HTTPS, and SOCKS proxy settings can only be applied with manual settings.<\/p>\n<p>If you rerun the app after successful proxy authentication, you can directly access the service without logging in.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">Windows<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click the NAVER WORKS Drive Explorer icon located in the taskbar.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Settings'.<\/li>\n<li>Click the 'Proxy Settings' tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select 'Use Windows settings'.<\/li>\n<li>Enter information for proxy authentication.\n<ul>\n<li>Username: Enter the user name set in the proxy settings of the Windows OS.<\/li>\n<li>Password: Enter the password set in the proxy settings of the Windows OS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Apply'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Manual proxy setup<\/h2>\n<p>Apply proxy settings by entering server information directly.<\/p>\n<p>If there is an input error or issue, the proxy server settings cannot be applied.<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot connect to the NAVER WORKS server, you will also be unable to connect to the proxy server.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">Windows<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click the NAVER WORKS Drive Explorer icon located in the taskbar.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Settings'.<\/li>\n<li>Click the 'Proxy Settings' tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select 'Manual setup'.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the proxy server information.
