This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.<\/div><\/div><\/p>\n

Online-only status<\/h1>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Status icon<\/td>\nDescription<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\"<\/td>\nFor files,<\/p>\n

  • This means that the file is available to Enable use online only.<\/li>\n
  • In other words, the file can only be executed when the PC is connected to the internet.<\/li>\n
  • The file does not take up space on your PC as it will not be downloaded to your device until you download the file manually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
For folders,<\/p>\n
    \n
  • This means that you need to be connected to the internet to view the list within the folder if the list has never been downloaded to the device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    Convert to online-only status<\/h1>\n

    In the case of local-only files and temporary local-only files, you can convert them to online-only status if you are running low on space.<\/p>\n

    If synchronization fails due to a lack of storage capacity, you can optimize capacity by converting local-only files and temporary local-only files to online-only.<\/p>\n

    Like so, you can keep them in online-only status normally and download them only when needed.<\/p>\n

    However, files support status transitions, while folders do not.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Select a file to change it to online-only status in the sync folder.<\/li>\n
    2. Click 'Enable use online only'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u00a0<\/p>\n

      Delete<\/h1>\n

      Deleted online-only files can be found in the PC Web Drive Trash. They can be restored only from the Drive PC web.<\/p>\n

      They cannot be found in the user's PC Trash.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Select the file to delete in the sync folder.<\/li>\n
      2. Click 'Trash'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u00a0<\/p>\n

        Move<\/h1>\n

        Online-only files can be moved within the sync folder.<\/p>\n

        If you move files outside the sync folder, you can download and transfer online-only files.<\/p>\n

        You can move online-only files after changing them to local-only.<\/p>\n

          \n
        • After selecting the file, you can change it by selecting 'Always Keep on This Device'.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \u00a0<\/p>\n

          Move within the sync folder<\/h1>\n

          Drag and drop the online-only file in the sync folder to the location you want to move it to within the sync folder.<\/p>\n

          \u00a0<\/p>\n

          Move outside the sync folder<\/h1>\n

          Drag and drop the online-only file from the sync folder to the location you want to move it to outside the sync folder.<\/p>\n

            \n
          • The online-only file that was previously in the sync folder is converted to a temporary local-only file and is removed from the sync folder.<\/li>\n
          • You can check the removed files in the Drive Trash on the PC web.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Copy<\/h1>\n

            If you are copying an online-only file, the file is downloaded, and then copied in the state of a temporary local-only file. The same applies to moving the file outside the sync folder.<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. In the sync folder, click the online-only file you want to copy.<\/li>\n
            2. Click 'Copy'.<\/li>\n
            3. Move to the location to copy the file.<\/li>\n
            4. Click on the empty space.<\/li>\n
            5. Click 'Paste'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              \u00a0<\/p>\n

              Rename<\/h1>\n

              Renaming an online-only file doesn't change the sync status of the file.<\/p>\n

              1. In the sync folder, click the online-only file you want to rename.<\/li>\n
              2. Click 'Rename'.<\/li>\n
              3. Enter a name to change the file name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
