{"id":53792,"date":"2019-08-15T16:01:43","date_gmt":"2019-08-15T07:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/proxy-server-setting\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T10:13:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T01:13:41","slug":"proxy-server-setting","status":"publish","type":"use-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/use-guides\/settings\/proxy-server-setting\/","title":{"rendered":"Proxy server settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To use the NAVER WORKS PC app in a network environment with a proxy server, each user must add the proxy server details.<\/p>\n<p>However, once you set up a proxy server, voice and video calls will not be available.<\/p>\n<p>Proxy setting is only available on Windows.<\/p>\n<h1>Proxy server settings<\/h1>\n<p>You can add proxy server information even when you are not logged in or have no Internet connection.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">PC App<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29541\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/icon-message-pc-app-setting.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"23\" height=\"23\" \/> on the app.<br \/>\nIf you are not logged, find and right-click the NAVER WORKS app on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Settings'.<\/li>\n<li>Click the 'Connection' tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select the setting method.\n<ul>\n<li>To reflect OS settings, check 'Use Windows settings'.<\/li>\n<li>To enter directly, check 'Set server settings manually' and enter the proxy server information as below.\n<ul>\n<li>Type: Select between 'HTTP\/HTTPS' and 'SOCKS', depending on the network environment you are using.<\/li>\n<li>Server: Enter the IP address of the proxy server.<\/li>\n<li>Port: Enter the port number needed to connect to the proxy server.<\/li>\n<li>Username: Enter the authentication ID of the proxy server.<\/li>\n<li>Password: Enter the authentication password for the proxy server.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Apply'.<\/li>\n<li>After confirming that the proxy server connection is complete, click 'OK'.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that the NAVER WORKS PC app will restart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>If manual proxy server setup fails, the settings with errors will be highlighted in red.
