In this case, the version history will not be saved.<\/li>\n<li>When you save a file after editing in Drive Explorer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>File version history settings<\/h1>\n<h2>Set to use version history<\/h2>\n<p>The file version history automatically records different versions of the file depending on the file types set by the administrator. The team leader and the Group Master cannot set whether to activate the file version history for Group Folders.<\/p>\n<p>Version history is saved regardless of individuals' settings and uses shared storage capacity.<\/p>\n<h2>Type of files that can be restored and the file version storage period<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/admin-guides\/manage-service\/drive\/general-settings\/\">administrator can set<\/a> the types of files that can be restored and the storage period of versions.<\/p>\n<p>File versions with version storage period past cannot be restored.<\/p>\n<h1>View the file version history<\/h1>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">Mobile App<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5079\" file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h1>Restore<\/h1>\n<p>You can restore a specific version in the file version history if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>You can only restore previous versions of the file only if you have overwritten the existing file as this creates the file version history.<\/p>\n<p>You can only restore document and image files. \\In addition to the default file types, the administrator can add or remove the rest of the file types.<\/p>\n<p>Before restoring the previous versions, you can check the content of the files with preview.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div restore to preview the content of the file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h1>Delete a version<\/h1>\n<p>You can also delete a specific file version.<\/p>\n<p>The version history of the message room folder is counted as the shared storage.
