{"id":54542,"date":"2018-04-05T20:52:06","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T11:52:06","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/block-external-user\/"},"modified":"2024-11-13T15:02:13","modified_gmt":"2024-11-13T06:02:13","slug":"block-external-user","status":"publish","type":"use-guides","link":"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/use-guides\/message\/message-with-external-user\/block-external-user\/","title":{"rendered":"Block or unblock messages from external contacts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"green lw_tip\"><div class=\"lw_tip_content\">This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.<\/div><\/div><br \/>\nYou can block or unblock messages from LINE users or NAVER WORKS users from other companies.<\/p>\n<h1>Block external contacts<\/h1>\n<p>If you block LINE users or NAVER WORKS users from other companies, you will no longer receive their messages, nor be able to send messages to them.<\/p>\n<p>The user you blocked will not be notified and can still send messages to you.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the contact information of the blocked users in '<a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/use-guides\/message\/settings\/general\/message-setting\/manage-blocked-user\/\">Blocked Members<\/a>' of the PC app or web settings.<\/p>\n<h2>Block external contacts<\/h2>\n<p>For the people that you did not add in Contacts, the 'Block' menu is available in the message room.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">Mobile App<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Open the message room with LINE users or NAVER WORKS users from other companies to block, and tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4638\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/common_24_menu_line.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/>.<\/li>\n<li>Tap 'Block' to block the user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">PC Web<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<p>On the PC web, there are two ways to block users.<\/p>\n<h3>Block users in the message room<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-164344\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ic20_viewtype_thumbnail_767676.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> at the top.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Message'.<\/li>\n<li>Click the 1:1 message room with a <span style=\"font-size: 0.16rem;\">LINE or NAVER WORKS user from other companies to block on the message room list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You will see a message on top saying, 'This member has not been added as message contact.'.
