Each member with access to specific folders can set editing permissions for those folders within their team.<\/p>\n<p>The permission to access for members can only be set for collaborative and team\/group folders, not for general message room folders.<\/p>\n<p>Members will see a folder icon as shown below, based on the permissions granted to each folder.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/noaccess_folder.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" \/>: Folders without permission to access<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ic80_sharedrive_office.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" \/>: Folders with permission to edit<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/readonly_folder.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" \/>: Folders with permission to read<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reading and editing are all restricted for the folders you do not have permission to access.<\/p>\n<h1>Set access permissions for members<\/h1>\n<p>You can select which members can access a folder and specify their permissions.<\/p>\n<p>In folders where the permission to access settings for members are set, the '<a href=\"https:\/\/help.worksmobile.com\/en\/use-guides\/message\/group-folder\/send-file-or-link\/file-folder-location\/\">Send Location to this Message Room<\/a>' function is unavailable, and '<a href=\"\/en\/use-guides\/drive\/share\/team-group-folder\/manage\/#i-3\">FIle Upload Notification<\/a>' will not be sent.<\/p>\n<p>Member access settings cannot be applied to folders belonging to external groups.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">PC Web<\/h3><div class=\"lwtab_content\">\n<ol>\n<li>Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-164344\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ic20_viewtype_thumbnail_767676.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> at the top.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Drive'.<\/li>\n<li>Click the folder for which you want to change the access permissions.<\/li>\n<li>Click 'Accessible Members'.<\/li>\n<li>Under 'Share with', select 'Selected members'.<\/li>\n<li>Add members to share. You can only add members who have access to the folder.<\/li>\n<li>Tap 'Confirm'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h1>Set the members who can use each folder<\/h1>\n<p>When you add members, they automatically have 'Permission to edit'.<\/p>\n<p>If you need to change the permission to read only, you can do so in 'Accessible Members'.<\/p>\n<p>Members who are permitted to read can download, copy, or send the folder, but have no permission to edit it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lwtabs\"><div class=\"lwtabs_item \"><h3 class=\"lwtab_title \">PC Web<\/h3><div access to the folder, you can restrict their access.<\/p>\n<p>Removed members will not see the folder in the folder list or will see it as a folder without access ( <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gsaas-help.pstatic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/noaccess_folder.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" \/>), unable to access its files.<\/p>\n<div
