Write posts

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

You can write posts for each Note board and include not only text but also photos, videos, templates, files, URLs, and stickers.

Write a new post

You can write a new post by opening Note in the message room.

Mobile

  1. Tap  in Note.
  2. If needed, select the board to upload your post.
    You can upload a post without selecting a board. Selecting a board lets you filter and view posts specific to that board.
  3. Enter the title and body.
  4. Attach photos from your device or files in Drive if necessary.
  5. To add the post as a notice or change the editing permissions, tap and select 'Post Settings'.
  6. Tap 'Save' to upload your post to Note. Select 'Yes' to send a notification to the Team/Group Message Room.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click 'All ▼’ to select a board.
    You can publish a post without selecting a board. Selecting a board lets you filter and view posts specific to that board.
  6. Enter the title and body.
  7. Attach photos from your device or files in Drive if necessary.
  8. Check the checkboxes at the top to add the post as a notice or change editing permissions.
  9. Click 'Save'. Select 'Send notification to message room' and then click 'Confirm' to send a notification to the message room.

PC App

  1. Click at the top left.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Go to the PC web interface and click 'Write' at the right.
  4. Click 'All▼’ to select a board.

  5. Enter the title and body.
  6. Attach photos from your device or files in Drive if necessary.
  7. Check the checkboxes at the top to add the post as a notice or change editing permissions.
  8. Click 'Save'. Select 'Send notification to message room' and then click 'Confirm' to send a notification to the message room.

Edit the body

Change the text style

You can change the font size, shape, and color of the text.

Mobile

  1. Select the text in the body to change the font size or style.
  2. Tap .
  3. Change the style, size, or color of the text.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. After entering the body, select the text to edit.
  6. Select an editing option from the menu below:
    • : Font
    • : Font size
    • : Bold
    • : Italic
    • : Underline
    • : Cancellation line
    • : Letter color
    • : Background color
    • : Align
    • : List style
    • : Outdent
    • : Outdent
    • : Line intervals
    • : Remove formatting
    • : Special symbol
    • : Link
    • : Table

Insert a photo

You can insert photos into the post by selecting them from your device or taking a picture with the camera.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Select photos from your device or take a picture using the camera app to insert photos.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click right to the post you want to edit.
  6. Select a photo to insert into the post.

Edit an image

You can drag & drop or upload images saved in your computer and edit them.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click right to the post you want to edit.
  6. Click 'Import' or drag and drop an image to load the image.
  7. Use features below to edit an image:
    • : Enlarge or reduce the image by choosing a ratio or entering specific pixel dimensions.
    • Click to change it to a locked icon . You can enlarge or reduce the image while maintaining the aspect ratio.
    • : Crop the image to remove unnecessary parts.
    • : Insert a text.
    • : Insert a shape.
    • : Draw or write with a pen.
    • : Pixelate some parts of the image.
  8. Click 'Insert' to insert the image.
  9. You can also click the inserted image to edit it from the menu shown at the top left of the image.
    • : Small
    • : Original
    • : Border
    • : Advanced
    • : Deleted

Insert a video

You can select videos from your device or take a video using the camera app to insert videos into the post.

However, you can only insert .mp4 and .mov files.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Select videos from your device or take a video using the camera app to insert videos.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click at the right.
  6. Select a video to upload from 'My PC' or 'Drive '.
  7. Select a video.
  8. Click 'Open'.
  9. Check the file name and size of the inserted video.

You can only insert .mp4 and .mov files encoded with the H.264 codec.

Also, you can search videos inserted into the post by searching their titles.

Edit the video title

You can edit the title of the video inserted into the post.

Mobile

  1. Tap the inserted video.
  2. Tap 'Edit Video Title'.
  3. Enter a video title.
  4. Tap 'Confirm'.

PC Web

  1. Click the inserted video.
  2. Click on the video.
  3. Enter a video title.
  4. Click 'Confirm'.

Insert a video URL

You can insert videos provided by video platforms as a URL in the post.

  • Supported video platforms: YouTube, Naver TV, Vimeo

The video may not be displayed depending on the content uploader's settings on the video platform.

Also, the videos are subjected to the restrictions of the platform that provides the video URL.

Mobile

  1. Copy the URL from the video platform.
  2. Paste the video URL in the body of the post.

PC Web

  1. Copy the URL from the video platform.
  2. Paste the video URL in the body of the post.

Insert a sticker

You can insert stickers, including LINE stickers, into posts.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Tap a sticker to insert into the body.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click at the top right of the body input field.
  6. Click a sticker to insert into the body.

Insert a template

You can create templates that suit your business needs to add in posts.

You can create a template via create a new template.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. In each tab, tap the template you want to create and fill out the content.
  3. Tap 'Complete' at the top right to insert the template into the body.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click right to the post you want to edit.
  6. In each tab, click the template you want to create and fill out the content.
  7. Click 'Complete' at the top right to insert the template into the body.

Insert a form

You can insert a form into the post.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. In My Form, select a form to insert into the body.

Insert a translated text

You can translate the text you are writing into another language and insert it into the body.

Languages are available in Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), French, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Select the source and target languages, and tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Check the translation results and tap 'Insert' to insert them into the body.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. After entering the body, select the text to edit.
  6. Click .
  7. Select the source and target languages.
  8. Select 'Insert translation above the original sentence' or 'Insert translation below the original sentence'.
  9. Click 'Confirm'.

Insert a photo, video, file

Insert a photo, video, or file stored in the device

You can attach photos, videos, or files stored in your device.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Tap 'Select Photo/Video' or 'Select File' to attach a photo, video, or file stored in your device.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click 'My PC' of the 'Attach' field.
  6. Select a photo, video, or file stored in your computer to attach.

Attach a photo, video, or file stored in a Team/Group Folder or Drive

You can attach photos, videos, and files stored in a Team/Group Folder or Drive.

Mobile

  1. Tap .
  2. Tap 'Select in Drive' or 'Select in Folder'.
  3. Select files to attach.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click 'Write' at the right.
  5. Click 'Drive' of the 'Attach' field.
  6. Select files stored in Drive to attach.

Maximum number and file size of attachments

There is no limit on the number of files that can be attached to a single post. However, the maximum file size depends on the limit set by the administrator. Attachments are uploaded depending on the availability of the maximum shared storage capacity.
