Preview photos and image files

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

Preview photos and image files

You can preview image files stored in Drive without downloading them to your device.

  • Main image extensions: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, TIF, ICO, SVG, GIF
  • Google and Apple image extensions: WEBP, HEIC, HEIF
  • RAW file extensions: ARW, CR2, NEF, DNG
  • Adobe Photoshop extensions: PSD

PC Web

  1. Double-click the file you want to open with the image viewer in Drive.
  2. Press the left and right arrows or press the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to view other files.

Drive App

  1. Tap the file you want to open in the image viewer in Drive.
  2. Swipe left and right to see other files.

View the original photo and image files

In the Drive preview screen, you can load the original file to view it in high quality.

PC Web

  1. Double-click the file you want to open with the image viewer in Drive.
  2. At the bottom of the image, tap .
    To exit the original view, tap .

Drive App

  1. Tap the file you want to open in the image viewer in Drive.
  2. Tap at the top right.
  3. Tap 'View Original'.

Zoom in/out on the preview screen

You can zoom in and out of the preview screen.

PC Web

  1. Double-click the file you want to open with the image viewer in Drive.
  2. At the bottom center of the image, press , or press the + and - keys on your keyboard to zoom in or out of the preview screen.
    Alternatively, press to select your desired zoom level.

Drive App

  1. Tap the file you want to open in the image viewer in Drive.
  2. Place your finger on the screen to spread or pinch to zoom in or out.

Extract text, QR codes, and links from photo and image files (iOS)

In the Drive app on iOS devices, you can directly extract text and other elements from photos and images using the iOS Live Text feature.

Drive App

  1. Tap the file you want to open in the image viewer in Drive.
  2. Click at the bottom right of the image.
  3. Long-press the recognized text or QR code.
  4. You can select the text to copy it or navigate to the link.
