Your photo and name saved in the company directory will appear in your LINE profile which the LINE user will view, and your status message will only show your company name. The status message that displays the company name is fixed and cannot be changed.
Add a LINE user
To add a LINE user to 'External Contacts', you must be added as a friend of a LINE user first.
Mobile
- Tap 'Contacts'.
- Tap .
- Tap 'Add External Contacts'.
- Tap 'LINE User'.
- Share a QR code or business card image with LINE users to add you as a friend.
- QR code: You can save or share a QR code with an invitation link as an image.
- Business card image: You can save or share a business card image containing your information such as name, company, phone number, and email.
- When a LINE user adds you as a friend, a message room with the LINE user is created in NAVER WORKS. Tap 'Add LINE Contact' in the message room to add the user as a contact in Clients/Partners.
PC Web
- Click on the top.
- Click 'Contacts'.
- Click 'New'.
- Click 'External Contacts'.
- Share your email, QR code, or invitation URL with LINE users to have them add you as a friend.
- Invite via Email: You can send an email with an invitation link.
- Save My QR Code: Save an image of a QR code with an invitation link.
- Copy Invitation Link: Copy the invitation link.
- When a LINE user adds you as a friend, a message room with the LINE user is created in NAVER WORKS. Click 'Add users from LINE' in the message room to add the user as a contact in Clients/Partners.
Find LINE user contacts
You can check the LINE users added in the 'External Contacts' of Contacts.

- Tap the 'External' tab to find the list of LINE users you have added.
- Tap the name to view details of the contact.
PC Web
- Click on the top.
- Click 'Contacts'.
- Click 'External' on the top of the left menu to find the list of LINE users.
- Click the contact to view more information.
You can also find LINE users in the message list of Message.
Edit a LINE user contact
When a LINE user is added to Clients/Partners, the LINE user's name is automatically added as the contact name and nickname.
You can edit additional information including name, phone number, and email address. You cannot edit the profile photo and the nickname as they are synced to the LINE user information.
Since a number of the LINE users prefer nicknames (display name), editing their names in Contacts will make it easier for you to distinguish them.
LINE users you add are saved in 'External Contacts' and will be available in 'All Contacts' of the 'External Contacts' and 'External'. If the contact is related to work, you can easily share the LINE user contact information with company members.

- Tap 'External'.
- Tap the LINE user you want to edit.
- Tap   .
- Tap 'Edit'.
- Enter the contact information, and tap 'Save' to save changes.
PC Web
- Click on the top.
- Click 'Contacts'.
- Click 'External' on the left menu.
- Click the LINE user you want to edit.
- Clickin the detailed view of the contact on the right.
- Click 'Edit' to edit the LINE user's contact information.
- Click 'Save'.
Delete a LINE user contact
You can also delete the LINE user contact you have added to your contacts. When you delete a LINE user contact, you can still exchange messages but they will be deleted in 'External Contacts'
However, if a LINE user you added is chatting with another company member, you cannot delete the LINE user contact.

- Tap the contact you want to delete.
- Tap   .
- Tap 'Delete' to delete the contact.
PC Web
- Click on the top.
- Click 'Contacts'.
- Click 'External' on the left menu.
- Click the contact you want to delete.
- Clickin the detailed view of the contact on the right.
- Click 'Delete' to delete the contact.
The deleted contact will be stored in the Trash of Clients/Partners.
Restore a deleted LINE user contact
You can restore LINE user contacts you have deleted from the Trash of Clients/Partners.
