Drive Switch

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of WORKS Drive.

Drive Switch allows you to import data from external cloud services to NAVER WORKS Drive.

  • Settings for handling by file extension, size, and upload date
  • Setting to retain the modified date information of the original file
  • Settings for hourly schedules

Import data

Import data from the external cloud service.

Any member of the folder the data will be saved can access the imported data.

However, you can only select services previously connected from the 'External Service Connection' menu.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click at the top right.
  4. Click 'Import Files from Another Drive Service'.
  5. In the left menu, click 'Migration'.
  6. Click 'Import'.
  7. Select the external cloud service to import data.
  8. Select the data and location to import.
    • Select the data to import. You can only select files and folders you can access or download in the external cloud services.
    • Select where you want to save the photo. You can only select folders you have permissions to edit or create in Drive when selecting the location.
  9. Click 'Add' to add the import list and then 'Next'. You can add more than 1 import list.
  10. Change advanced settings. Select actions to apply on the imported data and click 'Next'.
  11. Select the date and time to start importing and click 'Next'.
    If you need to make an edit, click 'Previous' to return to the previous step.
  12. Click 'Import' after reviewing the settings.

While Drive Switch does not support data import from NAS, you can conveniently transfer data using Drive Explorer.

First, refer to the guide of NAS service you use and connect NAS to the file explorer or finder. Then, install NAVER WORKS Drive Explorer to sync and select the folder you want to import data of NAS.

Connect an external service

Connect an external cloud service to import data.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click at the top right.
  4. Click 'Import Files from Another Drive Service'.
  5. Click 'External Service Connection' in the left menu.
  6. Click 'Connect' of the service you want to connect to.
  7. Complete the authentication process required for logging into the service.

Click 'Disconnect' to disconnect the service.

Check the progress

You can check and manage the progress.

Statuses are as follows.

In Progress
  • In progress
  • Click 'Cancel' to cancel the import
Scheduled
  • Import start date has been scheduled
  • Click 'Cancel' to cancel the scheduled import
Completed
  • Import has been successfully completed
  • Click 'Delete' to delete from the list permanently
Canceled
  • Canceled to import data
  • Click 'Retry' to restart the import process from the beginning
  • Click 'Delete' to delete from the list permanently
Failed
  • Failed to import some or all data
  • Click 'Details' to check failed items and reasons
  • Click 'Retry' to restart the import process from the beginning
  • Click 'Delete' to delete from the list permanently

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click at the top right.
  4. Click 'Import Files from Another Drive Service'.
  5. In the left menu, click 'External Service Connection'.
  6. Check the import list.
