You can receive mobile app and pop-up notifications for a new post and notices on Board or whenever someone leaves a comment on your post.
Types of Board notifications
The following are the types of Board notifications:
Post notifications
- Notifications for new posts in boards using post notifications
- Notifications for post edits in boards using post notifications
- Reminders for posts
- Notifications for must-read posts
- Notifications for must-read post edits
- Notifications for notice posts in boards using post notifications
- Notifications for notice post edits in boards using post notifications
Post notifications can be set in Settings or in the posts lists under each board.
If you disable 'Board Notification' in Settings, you will not receive post notifications for new posts.
Additionally, notifications are only sent when the author selects 'Send post upload notification' or 'Send notification of post modification' when they write/edit the post.
Comment notifications
- Notifications for comments on posts using comment notifications
- Notifications for comment replies on posts using comment notifications
- Notifications for your name tagged in comments (@)
You can set comment notifications on the post details page of each post.
If you disable 'Board Notification' in Settings, you will not receive all comment notifications.
New post notification settings
You can customize the post notification settings for each board.
Mobile
- Tap 'Home' on the bottom.
- Tap Â
on the top right. - Tap 'Notification settings'.
- Tap 'Notifications by Service'.
- Tap 'Board'.
- Turn on 'Board Notification'.
- In 'Board to Receive Notifications', turn notifications on or off for each board.
On iOS or Android devices, you need to set device notifications first. If you turn off NAVER WORKS notifications on your device, you cannot receive notifications even if you turn on notifications within the app.
PC Web
- Click
on the bottom right. - From the menu, click 'Notification'.
- Under 'Notifications by Service', click 'Board'.
- Turn on 'Board notification'.
- In 'Board to receive notifications', turn notifications on or off for each board.
The default setting for post notifications is ON.
Turning off 'Board Notification' in settings will hide posts lists and the post notification button.
Set post notifications in the post list
You can also set post notifications from the posts list.
Mobile
- Tap 'Board' on the bottom.
- Select a board to change the notification setting.
- Tap
 on the right side of the board name to turn on/off notifications.

PC Web
- ClickÂ

- Select a board to set notifications from the boards list on the left.

The default setting for new posts notification is ON.
Send a reminder for the post
The post author can send a reminder in the form of a push or pop-up notification to the members who did not read the post yet.
Notifications for must-read posts
You will receive push or pop-up notifications whenever someone marks a post as a must-read.
Notifications for comments on your posts
If you turn on the comment notification for a post, including the ones others published, you can receive push or pop-up notifications whenever someone leaves a comment.
Notifications for comments on the posts you are interested in
You can also receive push or pop-up notifications for comments on the posts uploaded by other members.
Mobile
- Tap 'Board' on the bottom.
- Select a board.
- Select a post.
- Turn on/off 'Comment notification' on the top right of the comment area.
PC Web
- Click  on the top.
- Click 'Board'.
- Select a board from the boards list on the left.
- Click
 on the bottom of the post details page to turn on/off notifications.

The default setting for comment notifications is OFF.
Disabling 'Board Notification' in Settings will hide the comment notification button.
Notifications for your name tagged in comments (@)
You will receive push or pop-up notifications whenever someone tags your name in comments.
Notifications will still be sent for tagged comments even if comment notifications for that post are disabled.
