Edit member information

Edit the information of members including administrators.

For a description of each item in member information, see Add Members.

Edit individual member information

You can edit the information by selecting a specific member.

You can also edit member information in Contacts.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to edit and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. Press 'Edit Member' at the top right to go the 'Edit Member' page and edit information as you want.
  4. Press 'Save' to edit the member information.

Change individual member’s ID

Change the ID of a specific member.

Members whose IDs are changed will be logged out of all services within 5 minutes and must log in again using the new ID to continue using the services.

You will no longer be able to use the previous ID, as the ID change will also apply to the following: connected message ID, URL for adding contacts, and My QR code.

Change existing ID

When the concurrent company uses the same ID, the ID of the concurrent company also changes.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. At the top right, press 'Edit Member' to open the 'Edit Member' window.
  4. Press 'Edit' to the right of the ID field and then 'OK'.
  5. Enter a new ID and press 'Modify'.

Change temporary ID

Changing a temporary ID means you are creating a NAVER WORKS account. Therefore, you also need to set a new password.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. At the top right, press 'Edit Member' to open the 'Edit Member' window.
  4. Press 'Edit' to the right of the ID field and then 'OK'.
  5. Press 'Change' after entering a new ID and password.

Change password

Change the member's password yourself or ask the member to change the password.

If the password is at risk of being abused by someone other than the account owner, you can change the password to protect the company's information.

If you change the password, corresponding member will be logged out of all connected NAVER WORKS services within 5 minutes. The member has to log in again with the new password.

If the password has been compromised or a member has forgotten the password, the administrator can change the members' passwords.

Also, if a member has not changed their password for a long time, you can request a member to change the password.

Password change by the administrator

The administrator can change the members' passwords.

If a member has forgotten their password and cannot log in, you can create a new password without knowing the previous password.

Members will be logged out of all connected NAVER WORKS services within 5 minutes after the password change.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. Press 'Change' of 'Security'.
  4. Press the 'Change now' tab.
  5. Enter the new password of the selected member.
  6. Press 'Modify'.

You must inform the member of the new password for the member to access NAVER WORKS without an issue.

Request password change

You can ask members to change their passwords.

Members will receive a password change request via message. They must change their password by accessing the link provided in the message or change their password during the next login to continue using the service.

When members change their password, they are directed to the login window and must access the service with a new password.

Members will be logged out of all connected NAVER WORKS services within 5 minutes after the password change.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. Press 'Change' of 'Security'.
  4. Press the 'Request to change' tab.
  5. Press 'Request'.

Grant/Revoke Operations Admin authority

On the Edit member information screen, you can grant or revoke Operations Admin authority.

The Operations Admin can manage settings necessary for NAVER WORKS operation, such as member and service management, together with the Super Admin and other administrators.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. Press 'Edit Member' at the top right.
  4. To the right of the 'Operational Administrator Permissions' item, click 'Grant ' or 'Revoke Click '.

Change account activation date

You can change the account activation date on the edit member information screen.

Date changes are only available before an account is activated.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Select a member to change the password and go to the 'Member Information' page.
  3. Press 'Edit Member' at the top right.
  4. Press 'Edit' of 'Account activation'.
  5. Select 'Activate now' or 'Schedule'.
  6. Press 'Save'.

Edit member information in bulk

Download, edit, and re-upload the member information to change the multiple members' information at once.

Editing member information in bulk overwrites the existing member information. If you leave it blank and save, the existing information will be deleted.

PC Web

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Member' to expand the menu, then click 'Member'.
  2. At the top right, click 'More' and select 'Edit Members in Batch'.
  3. Click 'Member information download (CSV)' or 'Member information download (XLSX)' to download the current information of members.
  4. Open the downloaded file and save it after making changes.
  5. Click 'Select file(s)' to select the saved file.
  6. Click 'Next' to upload the selected file.
  7. After uploading the file, you can check the list of edited members in the preview at the bottom. You can also edit member information on the preview.
  8. Click 'Bulk Edit' at the bottom.
