Board general settings

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.

With Board, you can easily share important issues across the company.

In the General settings, you can configure the attachment limit and set the retention period for deleted posts.

Attachment size limit per file

Limit the size of file attachments on posts and comments, images, and videos in posts. You can prevent the misuse of shared storage by limiting large attachments, such as files, images, and videos.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Board' to go to 'Board'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Maximum size for a single file'.
  4. Select the maximum size per file from 'Maximum size for a single file'.
  5. Press 'Save' at the top.

Set retention period for deleted posts

Change the setting of the Trash retention period for posts deleted by members, Board Managers, or the administrators.

You can restore deleted posts while they are still in Trash.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Board' to go to 'Board'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Keep until'.
  4. Select the retention period.
    • If you do not want to auto-delete, change the setting to 'Do not auto-delete'.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.

Board creation permissions settings

Set whether to allow only the administrator or every member to create boards.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Board'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Create boards'.
  4. Select the permission.
  5. Press 'Save' at the top.

Check members who have read the post

You can select and designate the scope of members who can check which members have read the post in boards they have been granted access permission to.

By default only the author, Board Manager, and administrator can check which members have read the post.

However, members with restricted access to the organization chart are unable to check the list of members of who have read the post.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Board' to go to 'Board'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Check read receipts'.
  4. Select the scope.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.

Set post as must-read

You can designate the scope of who can set the post as must-read.

By default only the author, Board Manager, and administrator can set a post as must-read.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Board' to go to 'Board'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Must-read settings'.
  4. Select the scope of permission.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.
