Board general settings

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.

With Board, you can share important issues across the company at ease.

On the General settings, you can set the attachment limit and Trash storage period. Also, you can select whether to allow connection to external boards.

Attachment size limit per file

Limit the size of file attachments on posts and comments, images, and videos in posts. You can prevent the careless use of shared storage capacity with large attachments of files, images, and videos.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Board' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus. 
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press   on the right of 'Maximum size for a single file' texts.
  4. Select the maximum file size per file from the 'Maximum size for a single file' field.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.

Set storage period for deleted Board posts

Change the setting of the Trash storage period for posts deleted by members, Board Managers, or the administrators.

You can restore deleted posts while they are still in the Trash.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Board' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus. 
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press on the right of 'Keep until' texts.
  4. Select the storage period.
    • If you do not want to auto-delete, change the setting to 'Do not auto-delete'.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.

Check members who have read the post

You can select and designate the scope of members who can check which members have read the post in boards they have been granted access permission to.

By default only the author, Board Manager, and administrator can check which members have read the post.

However, members with restricted access to the organizational chart are unable to check the list of members of who have read the post.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Board' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press on the right of  'Check read receipts'.
  4. Select the scope.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.

Set post as must-read

You can designate the scope of who can set the post as must-read.

By default only the author, Board Manager, and administrator can set a post as must-read.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Board' to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press  on the right of  'Must-read settings'.
  4. Select the scope of permission.
  5. At the top right, press 'Save'.
