Calendar general settings

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

Change the general settings of the Calendar service.

Event time display

You can set the default time displayed in the personal daily and weekly Calendar events of the added member. Changes do not apply to the existing members.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus. 
  2. Select the 'General ' tab. 
  3. Press to the right of 'Show events between'.
  4. Select the display start and end time.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right.

Resource reservation

Set whether to use resource reservation. The function allows members to book facilities when creating an event.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus.
  2. Select the 'General ' tab. 
  3. Press to the right of the 'Resource' field.
  4. Turn on 'Resource'.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right.

Company Calendar

Select whether to use the Company Calendar. Only the administrator can create the Company Calendar and update schedules. Members can view the schedules on the Company Calendar that the administrator created. The company or organization name entered in the Company information becomes the name of the Company Calendar.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus. 
  2. Select the 'General ' tab. 
  3. Press to the right of the 'Company calendar ' field.
  4. Turn on 'Company calendar '.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right.

View members' events

Set whether to view other members’ schedule. This function allows members to view other members' schedules. 

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus.
  2. Select the 'General ' tab. 
  3. Press to the right of the 'View others' events’ field.
  4. Turn on the ‘View others' events’ function.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right.

Set the display scope of viewing members’ events

Available when the 'View others' events' function is in use. You can set the scope of information to display in other members' schedules.

  1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus. 
  2. Select the 'General ' tab. 
  3. Press  to the right of 'View others' events’.
  4. Select the display scope on the ‘Allow members to’ field.
    • View event details: Display date/time and details such as the title and location of the event. 
      • Manage Exceptions: Select members or teams to not display the event details.
    • View event date/time only: Only display date/time on other members' calendar.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right.

Export events

You can export and back up events in the calendar by using the ‘Export events’ function.

You can back up events with the export function.

  1. Select ‘Service’ from the left to expand the menu and press ‘Calendar’ to access the page. On mobile, tap the  button to access the menus.
  2. Select the ‘General ’ tab.
  3. Press  on the right of the ‘Export events’ field.
  4. Turn on ‘Export events’.
  5. Press ‘Save’ on the top right

Share externally

By using 'External sharing', you can share calendars with external NAVER WORKS users or with other third-party calendar services.

    1. Select 'Service' from the left to expand the menu and press 'Calendar' to access the page. On mobile, tap the button to access the menus.
    2. Select the 'General ' tab.
    3. Press to the right of the 'External sharing' field.
    4. Turn on 'External sharing'.
    5. Press 'Save' on the top right.
