Contacts general settings

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.

Change the general settings of the Contacts services.

External contacts

Configure the company tag, MY tag, privacy settings, and trash retention period for external contacts.

Permission to create company tags

You can choose to grant other members permission to create company tags.

If you select 'Freely by members', all company members will be given the permission to freely create, edit, or delete company tags.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Permission to create company tags' to change the permission settings.
  4. Press 'Save' at the top right to save changes.

Use MY tags

You can configure whether to enable MY tags, which are only visible to individual users and not to other company members.

If you change the setting from 'Allow' to 'Do not allow', all the existing information of MY tags used by the members will be deleted.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Enable My tags' to set whether to use this function.
  4. Press 'Save' at the top right to save changes.

Default visibility setting for contacts

You can select the default visibility setting when adding a new contact.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Default privacy settings', and select the setting you want.
  4. Press 'Save' at the top right to save changes.

Trash retention period

You can set the trash retention period for contacts deleted by members.

Members can restore deleted contacts from Trash during the storage period.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Trash storage period' to set the retention period.
  4. Press 'Save' at the top right to save changes.

Group

You can select who can grant permission to create groups.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Authority to create group', and then 'Administrators only' to restrict group creation to administrators only, or 'Also by members' to allow members to also create.
  4. After changing the settings, press 'Save' at the top to save the settings.

Company members

Set whether to display the number of concurrent/on leave members.

Display the number of concurrent/on leave members

Set whether to display the number of members who hold concurrent positions or are on leave of absence at the top of the organization chart.

However, the organization chart with the number of concurrent and absent members on the PC web is only displayed when you select 'Include sub-organizations' while searching for members at the top right.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Display the number of members with concurrent positions or on leave' and set whether to use the menu.
  4. Press 'Save' at the top right to save the settings.
