This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.
You can add fields to external contacts.
You can also change the order of the fields you added, update, or delete them.
The fields added in Admin are displayed when you add external contacts in Contacts.
Add fields
Add a new field to external contacts.
- In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap
to open the menu. - Select the 'External Contacts' tab.
- Click 'Manage Fields' at the top right.
- Click 'Add Field' at the top right.
- Enter 'Name' and select 'Type'. You can select between 'Text' and 'Link' for 'Type'. This setting cannot be changed after the field is added.
- Text: Displays a text field. You can enter up to 20 characters.
- Link: Displays an external website link. Link text can be set, and a URL is required.
- Set 'Value count' and propertyName. This setting cannot be changed after the field is added.
- Value count: Choose between 'Single' or 'Multiple'. If you select 'Multiple', you can enter up to 10 values for that field.
- propertyName: Enter the value to be used when integrating with external systems. If you don't enter it, a random value will be generated.
- Click 'Save'.
Change the order of fields
Change the order in which the added fields are displayed in external contacts.
- In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap
to open the menu. - Select the 'External Contacts' tab.
- Click 'Manage Fields' at the top right.
- Drag the
icon on the left of the field to rearrange the order as desired.
Rename a field
Rename an added field.
- In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap
to open the menu. - Select the 'External Contacts' tab.
- Click 'Manage Fields' at the top right.
- Click 'Edit' to the right of the field you want to rename and change 'Name'.
Other settings, except for the field name, cannot be changed after the field is added.
Delete fields
Delete an added field.
Deleting a field removes it from all contact information and cannot be restored.
- In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Contacts' to go to 'Contacts'. On mobile, tap
to open the menu. - Select the 'External Contacts' tab.
- Click 'Manage Fields' at the top right.
- Click 'Delete' to the right of the field you want to delete from the list.
