Transfer Drive files

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

Move files in a member's personal folders and message room folders to another member's personal folders, message room folders, and shared drives.

When a member leaves the company or changes teams/groups, and they can no longer access the folder, you can transfer the files to the existing folder for continued use.

File transfer settings

Files in members' personal folders or message room folders can be moved to another folder or Drive at once.

File transfer takes time to complete and deletes the file from the previous folder.

The new folder name will start with 'TF_' after transfer.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Drive' to go to 'Drive'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'Transfer file'.
  3. In 'Select transfer subjects', select the transfer target from member's personal folder or message room folder, and enter a name.
  4. Press 'Next'.
  5. In 'Select transfer recipients', select the location to transfer among member's personal folder, message room folder, or shared drive and enter a name.
  6. Press 'Transfer file'.

File transfer history

It refers to the history of transferred files.

You can check the following from the file transfer history: transfer subject (personal folder, message room folder), transfer recipient (personal folder, message room folder, shared drive), transferred storage, transfer date, and transfer status.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Drive' to go to 'Drive'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'Transfer file'.
  3. Press the 'See transfer history' menu at the bottom.
  4. Check the 'Transfer history' section.
