Mobile app settings

This feature is available after applying for the Lite, Standard, or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

Upload images for the loading screen and menus.

Loading screen settings

Select an image such as your company's logo to display on the loading screen of the NAVER WORKS mobile app.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Settings' to expand the menu, then click 'Customize' to go to 'Customize'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'Mobile App'.

Upload an image for the loading screen

Upload an image to display on the loading screen.

The image must meet the following conditions.

  • Smaller than 3 MB
  • Uses .png as the extension
  • A file name can only include English letters, numbers, and specified special characters ( – _ & % ( ) ’ . , )
  • A light-colored image is recommended for dark mode to ensure contrast with the background color #222222
  1. Press 'Upload File' right to the 'Loading Image' to select the file to upload. When you select the file that meets the upload requirements, the preview is available on the left.
    • NAVER WORKS will resize the image to width 600 pixels.
    • An image can be uploaded for either light mode or dark mode, and if uploaded for only one mode, it will be applied to both modes.
  2. At the top right, press 'Save' to make changes.

Display company name

The company name is displayed only when the image for the loading screen is uploaded.

The system font of your device applies to the company name on display.

  1. Select 'Display company name' of 'Loading Image'.
  2. At the top right, press 'Save' to make changes.

Mobile app menu settings

Add the 'Home' menu to the mobile app and change the order of the bottom menu.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Settings' to expand the menu, then click 'Customize' to go to 'Customize'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'Mobile App'.

Add a shortcut menu

Add shortcut menus to display in the 'Home' screen of the mobile app.

You can add up to 35 menus and open another app or go to a website by pressing the icon.

Icon image files must meet the following conditions:

  • Image size
    • iOS: 68 * 68 pixels
    • Android: 128 * 128 pixels
  • Smaller than 1 MB
  • Uses .png as the extension
  • A file name can only include English letters, numbers, and specified special characters ( – _ & % ( ) ’ . , )
  1. Press '+ Add' of the 'Shortcut menu' section.
  2. Enter the content for the shortcut menu including the name and URL in the 'Add Shortcut Menu' window.
    • Name
      • Name (Required): The name of the menu to be displayed. When the multi-language setting is off, the exact menu names you entered are displayed regardless of the language setting of the device.
      • Multi-language: When the multi-language setting is on, the menu names are in your device's set language.
    • Connected to:  Select where to be directed when pressing the icon.
      • Mobile App: If the app is installed on your mobile device, the app will open, and if not, the install page opens instead. You must select between iOS and Android.
        • iOS
          1. Press 'Upload' to select the icon image.
          2. Press 'Universal Link' to select between Universal Link or URL Scheme. Then enter your information.
          3. Enter the install URL.
        • Android
          1. Press 'Upload' to select the icon image.
          2. Press 'App Link' to select between Universal Link or URL Scheme. Then enter your information.
          3. In case there is a Package Name, enter the information.
          4. Enter the install URL.
      • Mobile Web: The website opens on your mobile device's default browser.
        1. Upload each image by pressing 'Upload' on the right on iOS and Android.
        2. Enter the Link URL. By entering the Badge URL, you can set the icon to display a badge whenever there are notifications on the linked website.
  3. Press 'OK' from the bottom of the 'Add Shortcut Menu' window.
  4. At the top right, press 'Save' to make changes.

If you have added 8 or more shortcut menus, you can check all by scrolling through the shortcut menu list.

Bottom tab menu settings

Select the services and their order to display on the bottom tab menu for Message, Calendar, Board, Contacts, Mail, Task, Form, and Drive.

The bottom tab menu displays 4 services right to the Home icon.

Services not in display in the bottom tab menu are available on the Home screen. The order of services on display is top to bottom.

  1. Adjust the arrangement of the service icons by dragging and dropping the icons in the 'Service Menu' section. The adjusted arrangement is visible in the preview section on the left.
  2. At the top right, press 'Save' to make changes.

On the actual screen, only the services available according to the authority of each member are displayed.

Initialize setting

  1. At the top right, press 'Initialize' beside the 'Save' button. The preview of the NAVER WORKS initial setting will appear.
    • No loading screen image uploaded
    • No shortcut menu added
    • NAVER WORKS service icons are rearranged in the default order
  2. Press 'Save' to complete.
