When generating answers to questions, the AI Assistant can search the web for the latest information or external materials, as well as use its own background knowledge.

If your subscription is NAVER WORKS Core, the AI Assistant can also refer to messages and board content depending on the settings.

Search WORKS data

If 'Retrieve WORKS Data' in the basic information of the AI Assistant is turned on, you can use the Retrieve WORKS Data feature.

Mobile App

1.  Tap the 'AiStudio' widget section on the Home screen or tap in your message room, post body, or email body.
2. Check the 'Search targets' information at the top of the input area.
   You can check the specified search range and the disabled fields.
3. Tap 'Change'.
4. Select or deselect 'Message' and 'Board'.
5. Select between 'All time' and 'Select manually' for the search range.
   If you select 'Select manually', you can further specify message rooms or boards to search.
6. Tap 'OK'.

PC Web

1. Click at the top.
2. Click 'AiStudio'.
3. Click an AI Assistant you want to chat with from the AI Assistant list.
4. Select or deselect 'Message' and 'Board' in the right 'Specify Search Data' area.
5. Select between 'All time' and 'Select manually' for the search range.
   If you select 'Select manually', you can further specify message rooms or boards to search.
6. Click 'OK'.

Clicking will collapse or expand the right 'Specify Search Data' area.

Search the web

If 'Web search' in the basic information of the AI Assistant is turned on, you can use the Web search feature.
