Write posts

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.

Posts can include not only text but also photos, videos, templates, files, URLs, stickers, and more.

You can post up to 10,000 posts per board.

Write a new post

You must select a board when writing a new post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board you want to post on, and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Enter a title and body. Attach photos or files if necessary.
  4. Tap to post as must-read, notice or schedule the post.
  5. Tap 'Post Settings' to select the author, allow editing or comments, and enable comment notifications.
  6. Tap 'Save' to upload the post. Select 'Yes' to send the notification on a new post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
  4. Select a board to publish the post.
  5. Enter a title and body. Attach photos or files if necessary.
  6. Set whether to select the author, post as must-read or notice, schedule the post, allow editing or comments, and enable comment notifications.
  7. Click 'Publish'. Select 'Notify new post' and then click 'OK' to send notification on a new post.

Insert a file

Attach photos or videos stored in your device as files.

You can attach up to 20 files per post, excluding images or videos inserted in the body.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board you want to post on, and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap 'Select Photo/Video' or 'Take Photo/Video' to attach a photo or a video, or tap 'Select in Folder', 'Select File' or 'Select in Drive' to attach a file.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Under 'Attach', click 'My PC' or 'Drive' to attach a file. You can also attach files by dragging them with the mouse.

The maximum file size of the attachment depends on the limit set by the administrator. However, you cannot attach a file when the shared storage in use reaches 100%.

File formats that can be attached depend on the administrator's settings.

Insert an image in the post

You can insert an image in the body of a post.

If the board type is Preview or Album, the set featured image or the first image inserted in the body will be displayed on the board list.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board to post and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap the text entry field.
  4. Tap .
  5. Select an image saved in the device or take a photo with the camera to insert.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Click 'Image' at the top of the text entry field.
  5. Select an image to insert.

Edit an image to insert

You can edit and insert images in the body of the post.

If the board type is Preview or Album, the set featured image or the first image inserted in the body will be displayed on the board list.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Click 'Edit image' at the top of the text entry field.
  5. Click 'Import' or drag & drop an image to load the image.
  6. Use the functions below to edit the image.
    • : Enlarge or reduce the image by selecting a ratio or entering the pixels.
      • Click to change it to a locked icon . You can enlarge or reduce the image while maintaining the aspect ratio.
    • : Crop.
    • : Insert a text.
    • : Insert shapes into images.
    • : Draw or write with a pen.
    • : Pixelate some parts of the image.
  7. Click 'Insert' to insert the image.

Insert a form into the post

You can insert forms you created or collaborating on into the body of the post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board to post.
  3. Tap the body field in the post.
  4. Tap above the keyboard.
  5. Select 'My Forms' or 'Collaborative Forms'.
  6. Select a form to insert into the post and tap 'OK'.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select the board to post in the 'Select Board' pop-up window and click 'OK'.
  4. Click 'Form'.
  5. Select 'My Forms' or 'Collaborative Forms'.
  6. Select a form to insert into the post and click 'OK'.

Insert a template into the post

You can insert an existing template into the body of the post.

Check create a new template settings to create new templates.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board to post and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap the body field in the post.
  4. Tap above the keyboard.
  5. Select a template to insert into the post.
  6. Enter the details.
  7. Tap 'Complete'.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select the board to post in the 'Select Board' pop-up window.
  4. Click 'Template' on the right.
  5. Select a template to insert into the post.
  6. Enter the details.
  7. Click 'Complete'.

Insert a video into the post

You can insert videos into the post.
Only .mp4 and .mov files are supported.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board to post and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap the text entry field.
  4. Tap .
  5. Select videos saved in your device or take a video using the camera app to insert videos.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select the board to post in the 'Select Board' pop-up window.
  4. Click 'Video'.
  5. Select a video to upload from 'My PC' or 'Drive'.
    However, only .mp4 and .mov files are supported.
  6. Select a video.
  7. Click 'Open'.
  8. Check the file name and size of the inserted video.

You cannot upload videos if the administrator has blocked .mp4 and .mov files.

You can only insert videos with .mp4 and .mov extensions that can be played in H.264 codec.

You can search videos inserted into the post by searching their titles.

Edit the title of a video inserted in the post

You can edit the title of the video inserted into the post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom, and then .
  2. Select a board to post and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap the text entry field.
  4. Tap .
  5. Select a video saved on your device or take a video with your camera.
  6. Tap the inserted video.
  7. Tap 'Edit Video Title'.
  8. Enter a video title.
  9. Tap 'Confirm'.
  10. Check the new video title.

PC Web

  1. Click the post with the video inserted.
  2. Click 'Edit'.
  3. Click the inserted video.
  4. Click above the video.
  5. Enter a video title.
  6. Click 'OK'.
  7. Check the new video title.

Insert a video URL

You can insert a video provided by the video platform as a URL in the post.
Supported video platforms are YouTube, Naver TV, and Vimeo.
The video may not be displayed in the post depending on the content provider's sharing settings in the video platform.
Also, the URL is subjected to the restrictions of the platform providing the video URL.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board to post and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Copy the URL from the video platform.
  4. Paste the video URL in the post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Copy the URL from the video platform.
  5. Paste the video URL in the post.

Hyperlink

You can insert a URL into a text.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select the board to post in the 'Select Board' pop-up window.
  4. Click on the right.
  5. Enter texts.
  6. Enter the URL to link to the text.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Insert Drive folder link

When you create, copy, and paste a link into the post, you can insert the Drive folder link in the body of the post.

Enable comments

You can set whether to allow others to comment on your post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board, and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap 'Post Settings'.
  5. Enable or disable 'Allow comments'.
  6. Tap to save changes.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Select 'Allow Comments' at the bottom.

Comment permission settings

You can select members who can leave comments.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board, and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3.  Tap .
  4. Tap 'Post Settings'.
  5. Enable 'Allow comments'.
  6. Tap 'Allowed To' to select members who can leave comments.
  7. Tap to save changes.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Select 'Allow comments' at the bottom.
  5. Select the members who can leave comments.

Comment notifications

You can choose whether to receive notifications when others comment on your post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom and then .
  2. Select a board, and then tap 'Confirm'.
  3.  Tap .
  4. Tap 'Post Settings'.
  5. Tap to enable 'Allow comments'.
  6. Enable or disable 'Comment notification'.
  7. Tap to save changes.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. In the left menu, click 'Write'.
    If there are multiple boards, select a board in the 'Select Board' window, and then click 'OK'.
  4. Select 'Allow comments' at the bottom.
  5. Click 'Comment notification' to enable or disable comment notifications.
