Calendar notification settings

You can configure whether to receive notifications for calendar events.

You can decide to receive notifications for the following.

  • Event invitation/change notification
  • Invitation response notification
  • Reminders for Each Calendar

Notifications for event invitations or changes

You can receive notifications for changes and cancellations for events you have been invited to or listed as an attendee.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Home' at the bottom.
  2. Tap at the top right.
  3. Tap 'Notification Settings' under 'General'.
  4. Tap 'Notifications by Service'.
  5. Tap 'Calendar'.
  6. Enable or disable notifications in 'Event Invitation/Change Notification'.
  7. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service Notification' or 'Email Notification'.

PC Web

  1. At the top right in Calendar, click .
  2. Click 'Notification' from the left menu.
  3. From 'Notifications by Service', click 'Calendar'.
  4. From 'Notification Type', enable or disable 'Event invitation/change notification'.
  5. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service notification' or 'Email notification'.

Event response

You can receive notifications when attendees have responded to your invitation (Accept/Maybe/Decline).

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Home' at the bottom.
  2. Tap at the top right.
  3. Tap 'Notification Settings' under 'General'.
  4. Tap 'Notifications by Service'.
  5. Tap 'Calendar'.
  6. Enable or disable notifications in 'Invitation Response Notification'.
  7. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service Notification' or 'Email Notification'.

  1. Click at the top right in Calendar.
  2. Click 'Notification' from the left menu.
  3. From 'Notifications by Service', click 'Calendar'.
  4. From 'Notification Type', enable or disable 'Invitation response notification'.
  5. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service notification' or 'Email notification'.

Reminder setting

You can set whether to receive service or email reminders for events in advance. You can select calendars to receive event reminders.

Mobile

Change settings in Calendar Setting

  1. In Calendar, tap or the top left title section, and then 'My'.
  2. Tap and then 'Add and Set up Calendar'.
  3. Tap the calendar to set a reminder.
  4. Enable or disable 'Event Reminder'.

 

Change settings in Settings

  1. Tap 'Home' at the bottom.
  2. Tap at the top right.
  3. Tap 'Notification Settings' under 'General'.
  4. Tap 'Notifications by Service'.
  5. Tap 'Calendar'.
  6. Tap 'Calendars to Receive Reminders'.
  7. Tap the name of the calendar to set notifications.

PC Web

Change settings in Calendar Setting

  1. In the Calendar's personal calendar view, hover over the name of the calendar to set a reminder for on the left list. Then click .
  2. Click 'Calendar settings'.
  3. Click or in 'Event Reminder'.
  4. Click 'Save'.

 

Make changes on reminder in Settings

  1. At the top right in Calendar, click .
  2. Click 'Notification' from the left menu.
  3. From 'Notifications by Service', click 'Calendar'.
  4. Enable or disable notifications in 'Notification Settings' under 'Reminders for Each Calendar' for each calendar.

Advanced reminder setting

You can make changes in an advanced setting for each calendar, such as setting a reminder before the event, all-day notification, or a notification type.

Mobile

Change settings in Calendar Setting

  1. In Calendar, tap or the top left title section, and then 'My'.
  2. Tap and then 'Add and Set up Calendar'.
  3. Tap the calendar to set a reminder.
  4. Enable 'Event Reminder'.
  5. In 'Notification Time', set when to receive notifications in advance.
    • For non-full-day events, the default is 10 minutes in advance.
    • For all-day events, the default is set to noon the day before.
  6. In 'Notification Type', select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service Notification' or 'Email Notification'.

  9. In 'Notification Type', select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service Notification' or 'Email Notification'.

  2. Click 'Calendar settings'.
  3. In 'Event Reminder', select how to receive your reminders.
  4. Set when to receive a reminder.
    • For non-full-day events, the default is 10 minutes in advance.
    • For all-day events, the default is set to noon the day before.
  5. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service notification' or 'Email notification'.
  6.  Click 'Save'.

  6. Select the notification method. You can receive notifications as 'Service notification' or 'Email notification'.
