Create and edit documents

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

You can create and edit document files within Drive without an external program.

The Document Editor can only edit files that are 300 MB or smaller.

Members with access to the document file can co-edit the document in real-time.

Document Editor supported files

The file extensions supported by the Document Editor are as follows:

  • MS Office files (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx)
  • PDF files (.pdf)
  • Other files (.csv, .txt)

Use Document Editor

In Drive, you can open documents in the editor to co-edit and save them in real time.

PC Web

Open from file

  1. Double-click the file to preview.
  2. Click on the top to open the Document Editor.

 

Open from list

  1. Click the file in the list to open it with the Document Editor.
  2. Click 'Edit Document'.

Drive App

Open from file

  1. Tap the file to preview.
  2. Tap on the top to open the Document Editor.

 

Open from list

  1. Tap  of the file to open with the Document Editor from the file list.
  2. Tap 'Edit Document' to access the Document Editor.

Create a new document

You can create and save new document files in Drive.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click ‘New’ on the top.
  4. Select the format of the new document you want to create.
  5. You can create Word (.docx), Spreadsheet (.xlsx), and Presentation (.pptx) documents.

Drive App

  1. Tap .
  2. Select the format of the new document you want to create.
  3. You can create Word (.docx), Spreadsheet (.xlsx), and Presentation (.pptx) documents.
