Check sync status

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

You can check the 1:1 folder sync status of Drive Explorer from the app icon on the taskbar or in the tray window.

Virtual drives do not have a separate sync status display.

The types of sync status are as follows.

  • Default status (Displayed only on the taskbar app icon)
  • Sync complete
  • Sync in progress
  • Pause synchronization
  • Sync failed/Conflicted, Sync folder has been changed or deleted
  • Log Out (Only displayed on taskbar app icons)
  • Unstable network

Show sync status by file

You can check the sync status by looking at the icons displayed on the folders or files.

Icon Sync status
  • Sync complete
    • Updated to the latest version
  • Sync failed
    • Sync failed due to some error
  • Sync stopped
    • Sync paused for a while
  • Sync in progress
    • Updating to the latest version

Status indicator on the taskbar

The Drive Explorer icon on the taskbar gives you a quick overview of your current sync status.

Status display in tray window

You can check the sync progress in the tray window (or sync feedback).

Sync status display area Description
Sync is complete, and there are no sync failures or conflicts.
Sync is complete, but there are sync failures or conflicts.
Sync is in progress.
Sync has been paused.
