Preview CAD files
You can preview 2D design files stored in Drive without downloading them to your device.
- Extension: DWG, SVG
- Supported formats: R1.2 (AutoCAD 1983) to R2018 (AutoCAD 2025).
- Size: Smaller than 100 MB
PC Web
- Double-click the file you want to open with the CAD viewer in Drive.
- Press the left and right arrows or press the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to view other files.
Drive App
- Tap the file you want to open in the CAD viewer in Drive.
- Swipe left and right to see other files.
Zoom in/out on the preview screen
PC Web
- Double-click the file you want to open with the image viewer on Drive.
- At the bottom center of the image, press
,
or press the + and - keys on your keyboard to zoom in or out of the preview screen.
Alternatively, press
to select your desired zoom level.
Drive App
- Tap the file you want to open in the image viewer in Drive.
- Place your finger on the screen to spread or pinch to zoom in or out.
