View Message Room Folder

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

The Message Room Folder is an automatically created file storage space for message rooms with 3 or more members, including Team or Group Message Rooms.

By adding folders used in message rooms to Drive, you can easily manage them in both the message room and Drive.
However, depending on the administrator, team leader, and Group Master settings, the Message Room Folder may not exist or its use may be restricted.

View Message Room Folders in Drive

You can view frequently used message room folders added to the list in Drive.
In the PC web and Drive app, folders that have not yet been added to Drive can be viewed by selecting 'Show All Folders' and will be indicated with .
However, folders that have never been used will not be displayed.

Mobile

  1. Tap in Drive.
  2. View the Message Room Folder.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'Collaborative Drive' on the left menu.
  4. Click 'Message Room Folders'.
    If you cannot see the folder you are looking for, click 'Show All Folders' on the top left of the list.

Drive App

  1. Tap 'Collaborative Drives' on the bottom.
  2. Tap 'Message Room Folders'on the top.
    If you cannot see the folder you are looking for, tap 'All Folders' on the top left of the list.

Add Message Room Folders to Drive

You can set the folders for individual message rooms to be displayed in Drive.

You can also add folders to Drive from each individual message room.
These settings are personalized and changes will not be reflected in other members' lists.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'Collaborative Drive' on the left menu.
  4. Click 'Message Room Folders'.
  5. Click 'Show All Folders' on the top left of the list.
  6. Select the folder to add.
  7. Click 'Always Show in List' on the top of the list.

Drive App

  1. Tap 'Collaborative Drives' on the bottom.
  2. Tap 'Message Room Folders' on the top.
  3. Tap 'All Folders' on the top left of the list.
  4. Tap  for the folder you want to add from the list.
  5. Tap 'Always Show in List'.
    After you tap  on the top right, you can add multiple folders at once in select mode.

 

Hide Message Room Folders in Drive

You can hide message room folders that are not frequently used from the Drive list.

If you hide message room folders, it will not be displayed in the sync settings list in Drive Explorer.

However, the folders that were synced and used will remain in sync.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'Collaborative Drive' on the left menu.
  4. Click 'Message Room Folders'.
  5. Select the folder to hide from the list.
  6. Click 'Hide from List' on the top of the list.

Drive App

  1. Tap 'Collaborative Drives' on the bottom.
  2. Tap 'Message Room Folders' on the top.
  3. Tap  for the folder you want to hide from the list.
  4. Tap 'Hide from List'.
    After you tap on the top right, you can hide multiple folders at once in select mode.

Sharing scope

  • The sharing scope of a message room folder is specified as the members of that message room.
  • If you invite other members to the message room instead to the Team/Group, they will automatically have access to the folder.

To invite someone to a Team/Group Folder, change the member's team in the administrator page, or the member designated as the Group Master must add the member as a group member in the group settings page.
