Add a member

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

You can add members to a specific folder in My Drive or enable co-editing.

Add members

You can add members to a specific folder. The invited members can access the folder contents, create and edit files. You can select permission to read or edit folders for each member.

Mobile

  1. Tap  of the folder to add members.
  2. Tap 'Send'.
  3. Tap 'Add members'.
  4. Select the members you want to invite, and tap 'Confirm' to share the folder.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' in the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to add members, or click  .
  5. Click 'Add Members'.
  6. Enter the names or email addresses of members, departments, or groups to add to 'Share with', or click 'Contacts' to select the invitees.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Add folder members

After sharing a folder, you can always add new members to the folder.

Mobile

  1. Tap  to view the members who were added to the folder.
  2. Tap .
  3. Select the members to add, and tap 'Confirm'.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' on the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to add members, or click  .
  5. Click 'Folder Members'.
  6. Enter the names or email addresses of members, departments, or groups to add to 'Share with', or click 'Contacts' to select the invitees.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Drive App

  1. Tap the 'My Drive' tab on the bottom.
  2. Tap of the folder to add members.
  3. Tap 'Share'.
  4. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  5. Select the members to add, and tap 'Confirm'.

You can check the list of members in the shared folder and select the permission to read or write for each member.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' on the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to check members, or click 
  5. Click 'Manage Shared Folder' to check the members.
  6. Check 'Share with'.

Drive App

  1. Tap the 'My Drive' tab on the bottom.
  2. Tap of the folder to check members.
  3. Tap 'Share'.
  4. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  5. Check the member information.

Mobile

  1. Tap  of the shared folder.
  2. Tap 'Send'.
  3. Tap the 'Folder Members' to check the members in which the folder was shared.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' on the left folder list.
  4. Click a shared folder, and click  on the top right.
  5. Click 'View Members' in Details to check the members.

Drive App

  1. Tap the 'My Drive' tab on the bottom.
  2. Select the folder to check members.
  3. Click on the top right.
  4. Tap 'Details and Activities'.
  5. Tap on the right of 'Add Members'.
  6. Check the member information.

Select permission for each added member

You can select permission to edit or read the shared folder for each member.

The default is set to 'Editable'.

Mobile

  1. Tap  in the shared folder.
    You can also tap  of the shared folder in the list to tap 'Share' and then 'Manage sharing folder'.
  2. Tap  next to the member you want to change the permission given.
  3. Select the permission.
    • Edit: Permission to upload, download, edit, and delete files/folders.
    • View: Permission to only download files.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' on the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to set, or click .
  5. Click 'Folder Members'.
  6. Click 'Edit' of the member to change permission.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Drive App

  1. Tap of the folder to set permissions.
  2. Tap 'Share'.
  3. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  4. Tap on the top right
  5. Tap 'Edit' or 'View' to change permissions.

Delete added members from a folder

You can delete members from shared folders.

Mobile

  1. Open a folder with added members, and tap .
    To delete a member, you can also tap  of the folder from the shared folder list. Tap 'Share' and then 'Manage sharing folder'.
  2. Tap  next to the member you want to delete.
  3. Tap 'Delete from shared members' to delete the member from the shared folder.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' on the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to delete members, or click .
  5. Click 'Folder Members'.
  6. Click 'x' next to the member you want to delete.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Drive App

  1. Tap  of the folder to delete members.
  2. Tap 'Share'.
  3. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  4. Tap on the top right.
  5. Tap 'Edit' or 'View'.
  6. Tap 'Remove'.

Unshare a folder

You can unshare a folder.

Mobile

  1. Tap  of the shared folder.
  2. Tap 'Send'.
  3. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  4. Tap 'Unshare' to unshare.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click 'My Drive' in the left folder list.
  4. Right-click on the folder to unshare, or click .
  5. Click 'Folder Members'.
  6. Click 'Cancel share'.
  7. Click 'OK'.

Drive App

  1. Tap of the folder to unshare.
  2. Tap 'Share'.
  3. Tap 'Folder Members'.
  4. Tap 'Unshare'.

Rename a shared folder

The Master who added members to a folder can rename the folder by clicking 'Rename'. The folder name displayed to added members will also change.
