Upload photos and files

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

You can upload and save photos, videos, and files from your device to Drive.

This feature is not available for external group folders where administrators have restricted file transfers, or for mobile devices with file upload restrictions.

Upload photo and video files

You can upload photos or videos stored on your device to Drive or capture and save them using the camera.

Mobile App

  1. Tap in Drive.
  2. Choose how you want to store your photo and video files.
    • Save a photo or video from your device: Tap 'Upload File' or 'Select Photo/Video'.
    • Take a photo or video with your camera and save: Tap 'Take Photo/Video'.

PC Web

  1. Click 'Create' at the top of the Drive list or at the bottom of the folder name.
  2. Select 'Upload Files' or 'Upload Folder'.
  3. Select the file or folder that you want to upload to Drive and save.

You can also upload files from your PC by dragging and dropping them onto the Drive screen.

Drive App

  1. Tap in Drive.
  2. Choose how you want to store your photo and video files.
    • Save a photo or video from your device: Tap 'File'.
    • Take a photo or video with your camera and save: Tap 'Take Photo/Video'.

Upload documents and general files

Upload and store files saved on your device to Drive.

You can also scan paper documents with your camera and save them.

Mobile App

  1. Tap in Drive.
  2. Tap 'Upload File' to select the files you want to upload to Drive.

PC Web

  1. Click 'Create' at the top of the Drive list or at the bottom of the folder name.
  2. Click 'Upload Files' or 'Upload Folder'.
  3. Select the file or folder that you want to upload to Drive and save.

You can also upload files from your PC by dragging and dropping them onto the Drive screen.

Drive App

  1. Tap in Drive.
  2. Tap 'File' to select the files you want to upload to Drive.

Overwrite files

You can upload a modified file to overwrite the existing file in Drive.

If set as a versioned file, the previous versions of the file uploaded to Drive will also be saved, and you can restore and use them when needed.

PC Web

  1. The modified file will be saved with the same name as the existing file in Drive.
  2. Click 'Create' at the top of the Drive list or at the bottom of the folder name.
  3. Click 'Upload Files'.
  4. Select the file you want to modify and upload to Drive.
  5. Click 'Replace'.

You can also upload files from your PC by dragging and dropping them onto the Drive screen.

Upload folders

You can upload and save files to Drive by folder.

PC Web

  1. Click 'Create' at the top of the Drive list or at the bottom of the folder name.
  2. Select 'Upload Folder'.
  3. Select the folder where you want to upload and save the files to Drive.

You can also upload folders from your PC by dragging and dropping them onto the Drive screen.

Limits on the maximum number, name, and size of files that can be uploaded

You can upload files to Drive without any limit on the number of files, as long as it is within the available capacity.

The name of the file can be up to 400 characters long, including the full path.

The maximum file size that can be stored in Drive per plan is as follows.

  • Lite: 10 GB
  • Standard: 50 GB
  • Standard Plus: 200 GB
