Translate an email

This feature is available after applying for the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

You can auto-translate emails.

The translation is available in Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), French, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Email translation

This function detects your language and translates automatically.
By default, only the most recent emails in Thread are translated.

Mobile

  1. Open an email and tap   .
  2. Tap 'Translate'.
    To change the translation language, tap the language on the top right. If you want to translate the entire email, tap 'Recent' on the top right and select 'Translate all'.
    To view the original text again, tap 'View original'.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top.
  2. Click 'Mail'.
  3. Click on an email in Mail.
  4. Open the email, and click 'Translate' on the top right.
    To change the translation language, click the language on the top right. If you want to translate the entire content of the email, select 'All' in the 'Translation scope' on the top right to change the translation scope.
    Click 'View Original Email' to view the original text again.

Turn off email translation

You can turn off the translation function.

Mobile

Tap on the top right of the translated email. Then tap 'Disable translation'.

PC Web

Click on the top right.
