Send a folder or file shortcut to a message room

By sending a message with a shortcut button to the message room, you can provide direct access to files or folders in the message room folder, allowing seamless data exchange without concerns about limited shared storage.

Click the 'Go to folder' button to go to the folder or where the file is saved.

This feature is not available for team/group folders with restricted access.

Send a shortcut to a folder or file to a message room

Mobile

  1. Tap the message room folder in Drive with the file or folder to send the location.
  2. Tap right to the file or folder to send the shortcut.
  3. Tap 'Send'.
  4. Tap 'Send Location to this Message Room'.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Enter the message room folder. Click the message room folder with the file or folder to send the shortcut.
  4. Select up to 100 files or folders to send shortcuts to.
  5. Hover over the selected files.
  6. Right-click.
  7. Click 'Send Shortcut to Message Room'.
  8. Click ‘OK’ to go the message room immediately.

Enter a folder through a message notification

Mobile

Check the message notification sent to the message room and tap 'Go to folder' to go to that folder.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Check the message notification sent to the message room and click 'Go to the Folder' to go to that folder.

PC App

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Check the message notification sent to the message room and click 'Go to the Folder'. You can go to the PC web screen and check the folder at the right.
