Report an external contact

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

When you receive a spam message from an external NAVER WORKS user, you can report the chat history, message room, or the user.

Please note that the act violating the terms of use will be handled accordingly after investigation. Investigation details cannot be informed.

The reported user will not be notified of the report.

However, the reporting function is not available for LINE users or message rooms.

Report a conversation

Report the contents of messages sent by external NAVER WORKS users.

Mobile

  1. Tap and hold the message you want to report.
  2. Tap ‘Report’.
  3. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  4. Tap 'Agree and Report'.

PC Web

  1. Right-click the message you want to report.
    Alternatively, hover the mouse pointer next to the message, and then click .
  2. Click ‘Report’.
  3. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  4. Click 'Agree and Report'.

PC App

  1. Right-click the message you want to report.

Report a message room

Report a message room created by an external NAVER WORKS user.

Mobile

  1. Enter the message room and tap  .
  2. Tap ‘Report’.
  3. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  4. Tap 'Agree and Report'.

PC Web

  1. Click on the top.
  2. Click 'Message'.
  3. Click a message room from the message room list.
  4. Click on the top right of the message room.
  5. Click ‘Report’.
  6. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  7. Click 'Agree and Report'.

PC App

  1. Click  on the top left.
  2. Click a message room from the message room list.
  3. Click  on the top right of the message room.
  4. Click ‘Report’.
  5. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  6. Click 'Agree and Report'.

Report a contact

Report an external NAVER WORKS contact.

Mobile

  1. Tap the profile image of the contact you want to report.
  2. Tap ‘See more’.
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap ‘Report’.
  5. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  6. Tap 'Agree and Report'.

PC Web

  1. Click the profile image of the contact you want to report.
  2. Click  on the top right.
  3. Click ‘Report’.
  4. Select or enter a reason for reporting.
  5. Click 'Agree and Report'.
