What is Message?

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

NAVER WORKS Message is a business messenger that offers features tailored for work, featuring a user-friendly interface similar to LINE.

Message room types

Message rooms are categorized into four types based on their purpose:
General Message Room, Group Message Room, Team Message Room, and Message to me.

What does Message allow you to do?

# Send messages

In the message room, you can send not only text messages but also attach photos, videos, files, surveys, locations, templates and even tasks. You can also use features for work such as read receipt to see who has read or not read your messages and recall messages to prevent mistakes.

# Use Note, Event, Task, and Folder

In a message room with multiple participants, you can use four additional features: Note, Event, Task, and Folder. These are especially useful for close collaboration with team members.

The Team Message Room is synced with the organizational chart. Therefore, when members of the team change, these changes are automatically reflected in the message room.

A project managed by a specific person can be made into a Group Message Room . The Group Master manages members and feature settings, and it is synced with group contact information in Contacts.

# Voice and video calls

Sometimes sharing ideas through text alone is difficult. As a solution, you can send voice messages or make voice and video calls for better communication. Even when working remotely, screen sharing can help your meetings proceed smoothly.

# LINE or NAVER WORKS connection

In the message room, you can communicate not only with internal members but also with external users who use NAVER WORKS or LINE.

Group collaboration with external people can start with 'Chat with External Users'.

A message room where external NAVER WORKS users and multiple members can communicate will be created as an External Group, which can be managed by the Group Master.
