Manage devices

You can view and manage information about all devices accessing the NAVER WORKS mobile app, PC app, and Drive Explorer, including mobile devices you've added as trusted devices.

View and manage devices

You can check and manage the list of mobile devices registered as trusted devices by activating 'Log in with Device Unlock Method (FIDO)'.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Home' at the bottom.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap 'Device' from the menu.
  4. Check your mobile device under 'Trusted Devices'. To manage your mobile device, tap at the top right.
    • Change Name: Edit the device name.
    • Remove Device: Remove the trusted device to disable biometric login on that device.
    • Mark as Main Device: Change the device as a main device. When you log in from PC web, PC app, or Drive Explorer with your mobile device, you can sign in by approving the login request on your main device.
    • Verification History: View the history of authentication with that device.

PC Web

  1. Click your profile photo at the top right.
  2. Click 'Device' from the menu.
  3. Check your mobile device under 'Trusted Devices'. To manage your mobile device, click at the top right.
    • Change Name: Edit the device name.
    • Remove Device: Remove the trusted device to disable biometric login on that device.
    • Mark as Main Device: Change the device as a main device. When you log in from PC web, PC app, or Drive Explorer with your mobile device, you can sign in by approving the login request on your main device.
    • Verification History: View the history of authentication with that device.

Check all connected devices

You can check the information of all devices connected to NAVER WORKS mobile app, PC app, and Drive Explorer.

If the apps installed on each device are out of date, you can send update notifications to encourage them to update to the latest version of the app.

Also, when you lose your mobile device for work and are concerned about information leakage, you can remotely delete data with the remote device management function.

PC Web

  1. Click your profile photo at the top right.
  2. Click 'Device' from the menu.
  3. View specific device information.

You can check the following information in 'Device':

Model (Device Name)
  • The model name of the device is displayed.
  • To view more information of the device, click the information displayed. For devices with NAVER WORKS MDM installed, you can delete the app data.
  • For NAVER WORKS MDM users, you will be prompted to install a profile for remote mobile device management (MDM). If you are using an external MDM, the status of the profile installation cannot be checked on NAVER WORKS, and the device will be displayed as 'Unregistered'.
Device OS (Version)
  • Displays the type and version of the device’s operating system.
Vendor ID
  • Unique value generated by the device and is not displayed on the device. The value changes when the device is reset but does not change even if the NAVER WORKS app is deleted or reinstalled.
  • You can check for devices that use NAVER WORKS MDM and external MDM.
Device ID
  • ID of the device is displayed. (Unregistered devices are marked as 'unknown' and are not displayed when 'Admin > Security > Mobile Security > Remote device control' is set to OFF.)
App version
  • The last NAVER WORKS app and version accessed on this device is displayed.
  • If the mobile app is not up to date, you can send an update notice via service notification.
First accessed
  • Displays the date and time when the user first accessed the app on this device.
Last accessed
  • Displays the date and time when the user most recently accessed the app on this device.
  • This information is updated when the user logs into the mobile app again or reopens it after 24 hours since the last access.
Registered
  • 'Registered' and 'Unregistered' are displayed depending on the device registration status. On PC, 'N/A' is displayed. (They are not displayed when 'Admin > Security > Mobile Security > Remote device control' is set to OFF.)
