This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.
Collaborative folders are the most easily accessible file storage space for company members.
All folders are shared with company members and are accessible immediately upon upload.
You can easily collect and manage files that need to be backed up, such as those related to resigned members and completed projects, through collaborative folders.
Create a collaborative folder
Create a collaborative folder to use with members.
The option to create a collaborative folder is available under Quick Access/Recent/Important/Link.
You can create up to 1,000 collaborative folders, and there is no limit to the number of folders you can create within a collaborative folder.
However, creating collaborative folders may be restricted depending on administrator settings.
Mobile
- Tap in Drive.
- Tap 'Quick Access'.
- Tap .
- Tap 'Create Collaborative Folder'.
- Set the name, description, Folder Master, scope of sharing, etc. for the collaborative folder.
- Tap 'Confirm' to create a collaborative folder.
PC Web
- Click at the top.
- Click 'Drive'.
- Click 'Collaborative Drive'.
- Click 'New' at the top.
- Click 'Create a Collaborative Folder'.
- Set the name, description, Folder Master, scope of sharing, link sharing, etc. for the collaborative folder.
- Click 'Create'.
Drive App
- Tap 'Collaborative Drive' at the bottom.
- Tap .
- Tap 'Collaborative Folder'.
- Set the name, description, Folder Master, scope of sharing, etc. for the collaborative folder.
- Tap 'Confirm'.
Folder Master
- The user who creates the collaborative folder becomes the Folder Master.Additional masters can also be assigned.
- Users designated as the Folder Master can view all folders and files in the collaborative folder and set which members are allowed access for each folder.
- You can designate up to 100 Folder Masters.
Scope of sharing
- You can set the scope of sharing to either 'All members' or 'Specific members'.
- If you select 'All members', anyone with access to Drive can access the collaborative folder.
- If you select 'Specific members', you can assign members to share the folder with. The Folder Master is automatically designated as one of the folder members, and users who are added as members can access the collaborative folder.
You can select up to 2,000 members, including the Folder Master, to receive shared access. - You can select permission to read or edit folders for each member.
Set access level
- You can restrict access to Collaborative Folders based on user type set in 'Position/Level/User Type' of Admin.
- If you have selected 'All members' for the scope of sharing, you can 'Restrict access'. You can restrict access to the collaborative folder for members corresponding to the selected user type.
Link sharing
- If the link sharing setting of the collaborative folder in Admin is set to 'Enable', you can set whether to allow the link sharing function for each collaborative folder.
- To restrict users from accessing files in a specific collaborative folder from a link, you need to change the setting to  'Disable' on the screen where you can create or edit a collaborative folder.
