Allow access to microphone, camera, and screen recordings

To use voice/video calls and screen sharing in the NAVER WORKS app, you must allow the app to access the microphone, camera, and screen recording.

Mobile

Allow access to the microphone and camera on your iOS device

  1. When you are using the voice/video call for the first time, tap 'Confirm' on the popup asking for permission.
  2. If you want to allow access after selecting 'Don't Allow,' you will need to adjust your device settings.
    1. Go to your device's Settings.
    2. Tap 'NAVER WORKS' from the list.
    3. Under 'Allow NAVER WORKS access', set 'Microphone' and 'Camera' to ON.

 

Allow access to microphone and camera on Android devices

  1. When you are using the voice/video call for the first time, tap 'Allow' in the popup asking for access.
  2. If you want to allow access after selecting 'Deny', you will need to adjust your device settings.
    1. Select 'Settings > Apps > NAVER WORKS' on your device.
    2. Select 'Permissions' in App info.
    3. Allow access to 'Microphone', 'Phone', and 'Camera'.

PC App

Allow access to microphone and camera on Windows OS

  1. Go to Windows ‘Settings > Privacy > App permissions’.
  2. Go to the 'Microphone' and 'Camera' menus.
  3. On that page, allow both microphone and camera access.
  4. Restart the app.

 

Allow access to microphone and camera on macOS

  1. When you are using the voice/video call for the first time, tap 'OK' in the popup asking for access.
  2. If you want to allow access after selecting 'Don't Allow,' you will need to adjust your device settings.
    1. Go to 'System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy'.
    2. In the Microphone and Camera list, set 'NAVER WORKS' to ON.
    3. Restart the app.

 

Allow screen recording on macOS

  1. When you are using the screen sharing for the first time, click 'Open Security Preferences' on the popup asking for access.
  2. In the 'Privacy > Screen Recording' list, set 'NAVER WORKS' to ON.
  3. If you want to allow access after selecting 'Don't Allow’, you will need to adjust your device settings.
    1. Go to 'System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy'.
    2. In the Screen Recording list, set 'NAVER WORKS' to ON.
    3. Restart the app.
