Mobile screenshot restriction
To prevent internal security information from being leaked to mobile devices, NAVER WORKS app screen capture on mobile is restricted.
The mobile app screen capture restrictions only apply when the NAVER WORKS app is running.
- Android: To capture the NAVER WORKS mobile app screen, a warning will be displayed and you will not be able to capture the screen. Since captures cannot be saved, they are not recorded in the Admin audit. When capturing with an external mobile app, the capture screen is saved as a blank black screen.
- iOS: The NAVER WORKS mobile app allows screen capturing, but a warning prompts users to delete the captured screen. At the same time, detailed capture history (including user, device, and original image) is saved in 'Admin > Audit > Mobile Screenshots(iOS)'.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
To prepare for the loss or theft of a member's device with the NAVER WORKS installed, the administrator or members can remotely delete the data of the NAVER WORKS mobile app installed on the member's device.
To use the Mobile Device Management function, the administrator must turn on the NAVER WORKS MDM, and then have each member activate MDM on their device.
Option | Description |
Use | Members can activate the Mobile Device Management function only when it is set to 'Use'.
|
Do not use | Members cannot activate the Mobile Device Management function on the device. |
Use 'Manage exceptions' to apply settings different from the company-wide policy for specific members.
