Mail general settings

This feature is available after applying for the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

Change the general settings of the Mail service.

Email receipt confirmation

Adjust the setting to enable members to see when a recipient has read their email in 'Request email read receipt'.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Mail' to go to 'Mail'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Request email read receipt' to enable 'Request email read receipt'.
  4. At the top right, press 'Save' to apply changes.

File attachments

Set the maximum total size for all attached files. You can set up to 25 MB.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Mail' to go to 'Mail'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Attach file' and enter the maximum file size for uploads.
  4. At the top right, press 'Save' to apply changes.

Files with download deadline

Select whether to allow sending files that exceed the attachment size limit with an expiration date on the 'Admin > Security > Mail Security' page.
If the 'Files with download limit' field is set to 'Allow Attachment' in 'Admin > Security > Mail Security'
On the 'General' page of Mail, you can set a limit on the number of attachments and size of files that have a download deadline.

Additionally, files with a download deadline can include up to 10 attachments, each with a maximum size of 2 GB (2048 MB). The sent files can be downloaded up to 100 times within 7 days.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Mail' to go to 'Mail'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Press right to 'Files with download time limit'.
  4. Enter the maximum attachment number and file size limit. Then press 'Save' to apply changes.

Set IMAP email migration server information

Members can save up to 3 templates containing necessary information for IMAP email migration.

To migrate IMAP emails, enable 'Import external email' settings under 'Admin > Security > Mail Security'.

  1. In the left menu of Admin, select 'Service' to expand the menu, then click 'Mail' to go to 'Mail'. On mobile, tap to open the menu.
  2. Press 'General'.
  3. Click 'Add Server Information' of 'IMAP Email Migration Server Information'.
  4. Enter each field in 'IMAP Email Migration Server Information'.
    • Name: The template name displayed on the members' email migration screen.
    • IMAP server address: Enter the address of the IMAP server where the email data is stored.
    • Connection port: Enter the port number to connect to the IMAP server.
    • Secure connection: Select whether to use SSL (or TLS) for the connection.
  5. Select 'OK' to save.
