This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.
Different icons are displayed based on the file status.
File status
File status refers to the current file's situation, which is determined by the user's download settings and whether the synchronization of synchronization target files is in progress or complete.
Accordingly, depending on the status of the file,
You can use it at any time, even without an internet connection.
You can use it only when connected to the internet.
You can tell if it has finished synchronizing.
Default file statuses
By default, all files in the sync settings are online-only.
If a user selects 'Enable use online only', the sync status switches to local-only after opening or right-clicking the file and saving the file locally.
Local-only files and folders are always downloaded and kept up to date.

Enable use online only
The file can only be used while online. This means that you can only open an online-only file if your PC is connected to the internet.
Such a file does not take up space on your PC as it will not be downloaded to your device until you download the file manually.

Temporary local only
When you open an online-only file, indicates that the data has been downloaded to your PC.
You can open the file anytime without an internet connection.
If you need more space, you can change the status by selecting 'Enable use online only'.
Local only
Local-only files are downloaded to the PC, take up space, and can be used at any time even without an internet connection.
Selecting 'Enable use online only' changes the status to temporary local-only.
If you want to immediately change the status to online-only, you can switch to online-only status by right-clicking and pressing 'Remove download'.
Sync in progress
The file is being synced.
This icon is displayed when uploading a new file or syncing changes made in the NAVER WORKS Drive to your PC.
Failed to sync files
Indicates that the synchronization of the file cannot proceed.
In the sync feedback window, you can identify the cause of the sync failure by clicking the Sync Failure Items button.

How to switch status
Enable use online only
Status description:
The file can only be opened if you have an internet connection.
Switch to 'Temporary local only' status:
If you want to download the file locally, you can click 'Download Now' when you are connected to the internet, and it will be converted to a temporary local state.
Temporary local only
Status description:
The file can temporarily be opened at any time, even without an internet connection.
Switch to 'Enable use online only' status:
'Temporary local-only' means that after switching the status, you can use it locally during the period when it switches to online-only status, in accordance with the period set in 'Settings > Basic Settings > Automatic transition period to Online-Only'.
Click 'Remove Download' to switch to 'Enable use online only' status immediately.
Switch to 'Local only' status:
Press 'Always Keep on This Device' to switch to local-only status.

Local-only files are downloaded to the PC, take up space, and can be used at any time even without an internet connection.
Switch to 'Enable use online only' status:
