Message room settings

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

You can make changes to the message room environment in settings.

Font

Select the font to display texts in the message room.

PC App

  1. Click on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Click 'Settings'.
  3. Click the 'Message' tab.
  4. Select the font you want in 'Font'.

Font size

Select the font size to display texts in the message room.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top right.
  2. Select the font size between Default and Large in the 'Font size option' of Settings.

PC App

  1. Click  on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Click 'Settings'.
  3. Click the 'Message' tab.
  4. Select the font size you want from Small, Normal, and Big in 'Size'.

Send key

You can use the Enter key on the keyboard to send a message or select other methods.

Mobile

  1. Tap ‘Home’ on the bottom.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap 'Message Room'.
  4. Turn on/off 'Send message with Enter key'.

PC Web

  1. Click  on the top right.
  2. In Settings, select how to send messages in the 'Send key' menu. The default key is 'Enter', and you can select from 'Enter', 'Alt + Enter', and 'Ctrl + Enter'. Changes are reflected after refreshing the browser screen.

PC App

  1. Click on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Click 'Settings'.
  3. Click the 'Message' tab.
  4. Select how to send messages in 'Send Key'. The default key is Enter, and you can choose from Enter, Alt+Enter, and Ctrl+Enter.

Status

You can choose whether to allow others to check your status in your profile or in message rooms before sending you a message.

PC Web

  1. Click My Profile image on the top right.
  2. Click 'Status'.
  3. Select a status.
    When selecting 'Absent', you must select the reason for absence.

PC App

  1. Click your profile photo on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Click 'Status'.
  3. Choose a status in the Status window. 
    When selecting 'Absent', you must select the reason for absence.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
