Drive Explorer optional features (macOS)

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Drive or the Standard or Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core.

Drive Explorer provides a variety of features depending on the status of the file.

As you can see in the table below, not all features are provided, but they are displayed according to the status of the file.

Menu displayed upon right-clicking Description
Resync
  • Feature available only for folders
  • Resynchronize only that folder. (However, subfolders and files in subfolders are not resynchronized. If you want to resync a subfolder, you must right-click on the subfolder to resync it.)
Invite member
  • Feature available only for folders
  • Linked to the member invitation layer on PC Web Drive, where you can invite specific members (other than yourself) to the folder.
Member settings
  • Feature available only for folders
  • Linked to the member settings layer on PC Web Drive, where you can set the members of the folder.
Request file
  • Feature available only for folders
  • The data in the folder is not shared, but is linked to a file request layer that allows the recipient to upload files.
Share link
  • Feature available for folders and files
  • Folders and files that are not link sharing are linked to the PC Web Drive link sharing layer.
Link history
  • Feature available for folders and files
  • Folders and files that have already shared links are linked to a link history layer that shows the person who created the link and the task activities performed in that folder.
Open with Document Viewer
  • Feature available for files
  • Linked to a document editor on the PC Web Drive where you can edit that folder.
Send via email
  • Feature available for files
  • Linked to an email window with the file attached.
Lock file
  • Feature available only for files
  • A file lock is applied to the file. (When a file is locked, it cannot be moved, version restored, or deleted.)
File lock information
  • Feature available only for files
  • If the file is already file-locked, you will be linked to the PC Web Drive's file-lock information layer.
Always keep on my PC
  • Feature available only for files
  • The file is displayed in a temporary local-only state, and the state can be switched to local-only.
Use online only
  • Feature available only for files
  • The file is displayed in a local-only state, and the state can be switched to online-only.
