Search metadata


This feature is available after applying for the Standard Plus plan of NAVER WORKS Core or Standard Plus plan of WORKS Drive.

You can search files based on the metadata templates and values entered into the files.

  • You can enter up to 10 search conditions.
  • Custom Metadata is not searched.
  • Templates designated as 'Do Not Use' by the administrator will not be searched.

Search by metadata

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Drive'.
  3. Click on the Drive search bar.
  4. Click the 'Search Metadata' tab.
  5. Select a metadata template.
  6. Enter search conditions by item.
  7. Click 'Search'.

If you select only the metadata template and do not enter a value, all files to which that template is applied will be searched.

Check search results

The search results list will show files with metadata applied.

If you entered one or more values in the search conditions, a metadata column will also appear in the search results list.

Up to four metadata columns can be displayed, and items without values are marked with '-'.

When you select a file, you can view all metadata values in the upper right area of the screen.


To search by metadata template with keywords, use Advanced search.
