Any message room member, including those who created the events, can edit the events.
When editing an event, you can select whether to send notifications to the message room.

Tap the event to edit.
At the bottom of the event information, you can view the event creator, editor, and the edited time and date.
Edit the event.
Tap 'Save' to make changes.
Click the event you want to edit from the events list at the bottom.

Click at the top right of the event.
Click 'Edit'.
If you want to only apply changes to the selected event, click 'This event only'.
To apply changes to the selected and future events, click 'This and following events'.
To apply changes to all the repeating events before and after the date, click 'All events'.
Click 'Confirm'.
Edit the event and click 'Save'.
