Delete, restore, and permanently delete a post

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core or WORKS Approval.

Delete a post

The post author, Board Manager, and administrator with access to 'Admin > Service > Board' can delete posts.

Deleted posts are moved to the Trash and will be permanently deleted after the period set by the administrator.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom.
  2. Open the post to delete.
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap 'Delete' to delete the post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. Click the post to delete.
  4. Click 'Delete' at the bottom right of the post content to delete the post.

You can also delete posts in My Posts.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap 'My Posts'.
  4. Open the post to delete.
  5. Tap .
  6. Tap 'Delete' to delete the post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. Click 'My Posts' on the left menu.
  4. Click  left to the post you want to delete.
  5. Click 'Delete' to delete the post.

Restore a deleted post

You can restore the posts you deleted from Trash to republish them in Board.

Also, you can select a board to restore the post.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom.
  2.  Tap .
  3. Tap 'Trash' at the bottom.
  4. Tap the post you want to restore from Trash.
  5. Tap .
  6. Select the board where you want to restore the post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. Click 'Trash' at the bottom of the left menu.
  4. Click  left to the post you want to restore.
  5. Click 'Move' and select a board to restore the post.
  6. Click 'Move'.

The trash retention period is set by the administrator.

Permanently delete a post

All posts in Trash are permanently deleted after the retention period set by the administrator.

You can permanently delete a post you’ve written and deleted before the retention period expires.

Mobile

  1. Tap 'Board' at the bottom.
  2.  Tap .
  3. Tap 'Trash' at the bottom.
  4. Select the post to permanently delete in Trash.
  5. Tap to permanently delete the post.

PC Web

  1. Click at the top.
  2. Click 'Board'.
  3. Click 'Trash' at the bottom of the left menu.
  4. Click left to the post you want to permanently delete.
  5. Click ’Delete Permanently' to permanently delete the post.

You cannot restore the permanently deleted posts.
