What is Document Viewer?

With NAVER WORKS Document Viewer, you can view documents on NAVER WORKS without opening an external program.

Depending on the document type, files automatically open with Document Viewer or Excel Document Viewer.

On mobile, the device's default viewer or associated program opens first.

You can use Document Viewer in mobile apps when the administrator enables 'Restrict file download on mobile app' or 'Watermark' in 'Admin > Security > File Security'.

However, Document Viewer can only open files smaller than 150MB.

Supported files

The file extensions supported by NAVER WORKS Document Viewer are as follows.

Among the below extensions, spreadsheet documents (.xls, .xlsx, .nxls) open in Excel Document Viewer whereas all other extensions open in Document Viewer.

  • MS Office files (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx)
  • NAVER Office files (.ndoc, .nxls, .nppt)
  • PDF files (.pdf)
  • Hangul files (.hwp, .hwpx)

Using Document Viewer

Document Viewer can be used in all services within NAVER WORKS.

Mobile

  1. Check the file you want to open with Document Viewer in the service you are using.
  2. Tap the document file.

PC Web

  1. Check the file you want to open with Document Viewer in the service you are using.
  2. Double-click the document file or click right to the file.
