Managing Business Place Permissions

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Finance.

You can manage Mange Budget Permission by business place or employee.

The Manage Business Place Permissions page is laid out as follows.

Grant Permissions by Business Place

The following shows how to grant permissions by business place.

  1. Click the ‘Admin Menu’ at the top right of the PC web screen, and then click ‘Budget’ in the pop-up window.
  2. Click ‘Manage Business Place Permissions’ from the menu.
  3. Click the 'By Business Place' tab.
  4. Select a business place to grant the permission to.
  5. Click 'Add' in the right area, then search for and add employees. Only employees who have been granted Budget admin permission are searched. You can grant Budget admin permissions in 'Admin > Security > Admin Authority'.
  6. Click ‘Save’.

Remove Permissions by Business Place

The following describes how to remove permissions by business place.

  1. Click the ‘Admin Menu’ at the top right of the PC web screen, and then click ‘Budget’ in the pop-up window.
  2. Click ‘Manage Business Place Permissions’ from the menu.
  3. Click the 'By Business Place' tab.
  4. Select a business place to remove the permission from.
  5. In the right area, select the employee to remove business place permission.
  6. Click 'Delete'.

Grant Permissions by Employee

The following shows how to grant permissions by employee.

  1. Click the ‘Admin Menu’ at the top right of the PC web screen, and then click ‘Budget’ in the pop-up window.
  2. Click ‘Manage Business Place Permissions’ from the menu.
  3. Click the ‘By Employee’ tab.
  4. Select employees from the employee list or search for employees using the employee search. Only employees who have been granted Budget admin permission are displayed in the employee list. You can grant Budget admin permissions in 'Admin > Security > Admin Authority'.
  5. In the right area, select the business place to grant permission.

Remove Permissions by Employee

The following describes how to remove permissions by employee.

  1. Click the ‘Admin Menu’ at the top right of the PC web screen, and then click ‘Budget’ in the pop-up window.
  2. Click ‘Manage Business Place Permissions’ from the menu.
  3. Click the ‘By Employee’ tab.
  4. Select an employee to remove the permission from. Only employees who have been granted business place permissions are displayed. You can add an employee in the 'By Business Place' tab.
  5. In the right area, deselect the business place to remove permissions.
