Expenditure Home

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Finance.

You can check and manage the preferences of the Expenditure service and expenditure items, and check the log history recorded in the Expenditure menu. You can also click the card or information displayed in the content area to directly use the corresponding function.

To access the ‘Expenditure Home’ menu, click ‘Expenditure Home’ in the left-side menu of the Expenditure service.

The Expenditure Home screen is laid out as follows.

 

Field Description
① Content tab Select the content to be displayed in the Content Area

  • Dashboard: Displays the allocated budget and budget usage status in a card form if Budget is set to Use, as well as expenditure resolution request status
  • Timeline: Display up to 100 logs recorded within the Expenditure service during the recent one month, sorted by latest first
  • Getting Started: Displays the settings necessary for using the Expenditure service in card form
② Content area
  • Displays the budget/expenditure status, log history, and Expenditure service management items according to the selected content
  • Click items or log details displayed in card form to go to the related menu

Getting Started

When you access the expenditure service for the first time, the Getting Started page will guide you through how to set expenditure-related information. Each setting item is displayed as a closed card. Clicking a card once will open the card to show the basic settings. Click it again to go to the related menu.
To use the Expenditure service more conveniently, follow the order of cards in the Getting Started page and complete the settings for all items.

 

Field Description
① Set expenditure preferences Open the Settings menu where you can set the budget usage status, expenditure report usage status, and the usage status of expenditure resolution report details
② Manage Expenditure Items Open the Manage Expenditure Item menu where you can add, edit, and delete expenditure items

Dashboard

After completing all the settings in the Getting Started page, the Dashboard screen will appear when you access the Expenditure service. The Dashboard screen displays expenditure-related summary information in card form.

The following cards are displayed in the Dashboard screen.

Field Description
① Allocate yearly budget
  • Displays the allocated annual budget by budget name
  • Click to go to the Allocate Budget menu
  • The allocated annual budget is the sum of the amounts between January and December, so it may differ from the total allocated budget For the total allocated budget, see the Budget service
② This Month's Report Requests
  • Displays the total amount (based on completed processing) and the count requested by all using departments this month
  • Click to go to the Expenditure Report Request Status menu
③ This Month's Report Requests by Department
④ This Month's Resolution Requests
  • Displays the total amount (based on completed processing) and the count for the expenditure usage by all using departments this month
  • Click to go to the Expenditure Resolution Request Status menu
⑤ This Month's Resolution Requests by Department
⑥ Yearly Budget use (Balance)
  • Displays the annual usage amount (based on completed processing) and budget balance by budget
  • Displayed only if the budget usage status is selected as Use in the Settings menu
  • Click to go to the Use Budget menu
  • The annual budget spending is the sum of the amounts between January and December, so it may differ from the total budget spent. For the total budget spent, see the Budget service

Timeline

Display up to 100 use logs of the Expenditure service for the last one month, sorted by newest first. Click the link for each item to go to the related menu.
