Payroll Home

This feature is available after applying for WORKS Payroll.

In the Payroll Home, you can check the payroll, retirement benefit, employer-provided policyholder report status, income earner status, etc. You can manage the settings necessary for using the Payroll service.

To use the Payroll Home, click ‘Payroll Home’ in the left-side menu area of the Payroll service.

The Payroll Home screen is laid out as follows.

Area Description
① Content Tab Select the content to be displayed in the Content Area.

  • Dashboard: Displays the payroll and retirement benefit status, employer-provided policyholder report status, and income earner status in card form
  • Timeline: Displays up to 100 logs recorded in the Payroll service during the last one month, sorted by most recent logs first.
  • Getting Started: Displays a link to manage the settings necessary for using the Payroll menu.
② Content Area
  • Displays the log history or related menus according to the selected Content tab in card form.
  • Click items or log details displayed in card form to go to the related menu.
  • Only the menus and cards that have been granted access permissions are displayed in the Content tab or area.
  • Recorded logs can't be deleted, and when their number exceeds 100, the oldest log is automatically deleted.

Getting Started

When you access the Payroll service for the first time, the Getting Started screen appears to guide you to set the information related to the Payroll service. Each setting item is displayed as a closed card. Clicking a card once will open the card to show the basic settings. Click it again to go to the related menu.
To use the Payroll service more conveniently, complete all the setting items according to the order of cards shown in the Getting Started screen.

Area Description
① Set Payroll Preferences Opens the Set Payroll menu where you can set the basic information for payroll calculation.
② Manage Master Opens the Manage Master menu where you can create and manage class, salary, and payroll masters.
③ Set Ordinary Wage Opens the Set Ordinary Wage menu where you can set the ordinary wage used to calculate overtime work allowances.
④ Manage Code Opens the Manage Payroll Code menu where you can register the payment code and deduction code for payroll calculation.
⑤ Set Calculation Opens the Manage Calculation menu where you can set the calculation for various payroll calculations.
⑥ Set Reports Opens the Set Reports menu where you can set designs for the payroll ledger, payroll transfer file, and payroll slip.
⑦ Migrate Data Opens the Import Data menu where you can migrate the payroll information from another service in use to WORKPLACE.

Dashboard

After completing all settings in the Getting Started screen, the Dashboard screen appears when you access the Payroll service. The Dashboard screen displays the summary information for the Payroll service in card form.

The following cards are displayed in the Dashboard screen.

Area Description
① Payday Open Status
  • Displays the list of paydays that are open.
  • Clicking this will open the Manage Payday menu.
② Payroll Payment Status
  • Displays the number of employees to be paid and total amount of payment for the latest payroll sequence.
  • Clicking this will open the Enter Payroll menu.
③ Payroll Certificate Requests
  • Displays the number of payroll certificate requests.
  • Clicking this will open the View Payroll Tax Forms menu.
④ Employer-Provided Policyholder Report Status
⑤ Retirement Benefit Payment Status
  • Displays the number of targets and total amount of retirement benefits in the recent month for which retirement benefit payment was made during the current month.
  • Clicking this will open the Enter Retirement Benefit menu.
⑥ Retirement Pension Accumulation Status
  • Displays the number of retirement pension accumulation targets and total amount of accumulated retirement pensions that belong to the accumulation ledger record date between the first and last days of the current month.
  • Clicking this will open the Manage Retirement Pension menu.
⑦ Year-end Tax Settlement Menu Open Period
⑧ Year-end Tax Settlement Closing Status
  • Displays the number of employees closed compared to the total number of employees who performed the latest year-end tax settlement.
  • Clicking this will open the Perform Year-end Tax Settlement menu.
⑨ Income Earner Status
  • Displays the number of income earners registered with non-wage income.
  • Clicking this will open the Manage Income Earner menu.

Timeline

Displays up to 100 logs of the Payroll service for the recent one month, sorted by most recent logs first. Clicking this will open the Manage Income Earner menu.
