Bot for Work

This feature is available after applying for NAVER WORKS Core.

You can use WorkTalk, a chatbot for work, and ManagerBot, a bot for management.

WorkTalk

WorkTalk is a chatbot service, and you can handle clock-in/out checks, document processing, and annual leave requests through chat. (See Handle Task)

  • You can check clock-in/out and request annual leaves through WorkTalk only if the company uses the Attendance service.
  • You can handle work tasks through WorkTalk using mobile app/PC and web message.

Use WorkTalk on PC

The following describes how to use WorkTalk on PC.

  1. Access NAVER WORKS on a PC and log in.
  2. Click .
  3. Click and click the chatroom.
  4. Click the Bot menu, and then click to select WorkTalk.
  5. Click ‘Send Message’, and then click ‘Start’.

Use WorkTalk on Mobile App

The following describes how to use WorkTalk on mobile app.

  1. Access the mobile app and log in.
  2. Tap .
  3. Tap and tap the chatroom.
  4. Tap the ‘Bot’ tab, and then tap to select WorkTalk.
  5. Tap ‘OK’, and then tap ‘Start’.

Handle Task

  1. Access NAVER WORKS and log in.
  2. Select WorkTalk for the person to chat with.
  3. Click to select the work tasks to be handled.

    • Clock-in/out check, document approval, annual leave request (today (all day), tomorrow (all day), enter manually), and shortcut to user guide are provided.
    • Clock-in/out check: This feature is provided if the company uses the Attendance service. You may see both Clock-in/out buttons or only the Clock-in button, depending on the work arrangement settings of the Attendance admin.
      • Select ‘Current Time’ to enter clock-in/out based on the current time. The time is displayed next to the ON/OFF display.
      • Select ‘Register Manually’ to go to the Clock-in/out Input window of Business Support. Enter the clock-in/out time to check clock-in/out. For more information about clock-in/out check, see Clock-in/out.
    • Approve Document: If you select ‘To Do’, then documents pending approval are displayed.
      • Select the title of the document to be approved to go to the document handling page.
      • The bot will show the approval result in the chat page after approving the document, and the next document to be approved is displayed.
    • Request annual leave: This feature is provided if the company uses the Attendance service. The user's total annual leaves and remaining leave status are displayed.
      • Select ‘Today (All Day)’ or ‘Tomorrow (All Day)’ to request an all-day annual leave for today or tomorrow.
      • Select ‘Enter Manually’ to manually enter the date and time unit for the annual leave request. If the entry of absence hours is set to be required in Absence Schedule Sharing Settings (‘Attendance Service > Settings’ menu), you can enter hours when requesting hourly leaves through WorkTalk.
      • If sharing of the absence status is required, then you can register an absence message when requesting the annual leave.
      • After completing the annual leave request, select ‘View Document’ to check the requested annual leave in the View Document page of the Approval service.
    • Usage Information: Shortcuts to the guide is provided, so you can visit the official blog and YouTube channel to check out any details regarding how to use Business Support.
    • Select ‘Back to Home’ to select the task you want while flipping through tasks in the WorkTalk Chat page.

Cases where you cannot clock in or out on WorkTalk:

  • If the company's work arrangement setting uses mobile clock-in/out check based on the mobile location information (latitude and longitude)
  • If the work arrangement is flex-time work (Select a Set Time to Clock-in/out)

Cases where you cannot request annual leaves on WorkTalk:

  • If ‘Annual Leave’ is not set in the company's absence item
  • If the date of the annual leave request is before or after the annual leave standard setting
  • If the employment date of the employee has not been entered
  • If the absence hours used are set to be included in work hours in the ‘Flexible Clock-in/out’ work arrangement and the maximum work hours have been exceeded
  • If the requested date is a holiday
  • If it is during a leave period

ManagerBot

A member with management view permissions can handle tasks through the ManagerBot. ( See Management View Settings )

You can handle tasks through ManagerBot using the NAVER WORKS mobile app/PC and web message.

The following describes how to use ManagerBot in NAVER WORKS Message.

  1. Select ManagerBot in the message room.
  2. Select the work tasks to be handled.(See Handle Task)

Handle Task

  1. Select a task to be handled in at the bottom right corner or select ‘Back To Home’ and select a task to be handled.

    Provided cards may vary depending on features and services in use.

    • ‘Go to Absence Status’ is provided when using Attendance.
    • ‘Go to Expense Status’ is provided when using Expense.
  2. Go to Absence Status: If you have permissions to view the department absence status, you can view the real-time absence status of the department based on the granted viewing scope.
    • When using Business Support as a corporate group, select a company to view. You can view only if you have permissions to view the corporate group and contact the member admin to add permissions to view.
    • Summary information of the absence status of today or tomorrow is displayed.
    • Select the number of absentees to go to the list of absentee employees of today or tomorrow.
    • Select the number of absentees by absence item to go to the list of absentee employees of today or tomorrow.
    • Select ‘View More’ to go to ‘My Work > Management > Absence Status by Department’.
  3. Go to Expense Status: You can view the expense status of the department and the expense status by individual.
    • When using Business Support as a corporate group, select a company to view. You can view only if you have permissions to view the corporate group and contact the Expense admin to add permissions to view.
    • This Month’s Settlement by Affiliated Department: If you have permissions to view the department expense status, you can view the number of settlements by department and the total expense amount based on the granted viewing scope. If you use the expense plans or budgets, the amount of expense plan and used budget are displayed. Select the total number of settlements to view the settlement status by expense item.
      • Select ‘View More’ to go to ‘My Work > Management > Department Expense Status’.
    • This Month’s Settlement by Individual: If you have permissions to view the expense status by individual, you can view the expense settlement status by individual employee based on the granted viewing scope.
      • Select ‘View More’ to go to ‘My Work > Management > Expense Status By Individual’.
  4. Go to Absence Status: If you have permissions to view the department work status, you can view the real-time work status and work hours of the department based on the granted viewing scope.
    • When using Business Support as a corporate group, select a company to view. You can view only if you have permissions to view the corporate group and contact the member admin to add permissions to view.
    • Today’s Clock-in Status: It displays the number of employees who have clocked in. For work arrangements that manage late clock-ins/early clock-outs or mandatory work, it displays the number of employees for late clock-ins, early clock-outs, and noncompliance with mandatory work.
      • Select ‘View More’ to go to the By Department tab in ‘My Work > Management > Absence Status by Department’.
